Pax 2 Questions

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by North0, Dec 29, 2015.

  1. Hi everyone, I've been vaping for a few months now, I started with the Atmos Astra, and was frequently online trying to find ways to enjoy my Vape sessions. Recently on Christmas my partner brought me the Pax2 which I find gives better vapor.

    1) However, I've come to have some concerns with my pax2. The air passage seems to get clogged up very fast, and the mouth pieces also get clogged extremely fast. Is this normal for the pax 2 or is there a way to have it clogs up less?

    2) is there a way to remove the resin that clogs up the pax oppose to the pipe cleaners. Normally when I have resen I would put it in my pipe and smoke it.

    3) I feel like vaporizers don't get me really high. Until yesterday I didn't feel I really high. I put it on temp 3 (red). Is there something I can do to increase the effects of my vaporizer? I personally enjoy the high and taste more than smoking and I don't want to switch back, but I don't feel the same. (Excluding last night)

  2. OK so the only thing I can address is the "high part"

It's not just about temp. it's also about how you pack your material.

    some tips:

    • The dryer the better!
    • When it comes to the grind THE FINER the better. really grind it up man, more than you think you should (this also helps with airflow and vape consistency.
    • Pack the PAX 2 and tamp down the material but not firmly. Simply pack it in place.

I grind the material then re grind it and put it on a piece of paper to dry out for 1 hour.

After that fill the PAX and you should have a great vape session.

Hits were designed for about a 10-15 "sip" through the mouth piece.

I'm new to this too and the above worked really well. You can find more information on Youtube.

  3. I am thinking of switching to vaping myself. Is the pax2 the best portable vape on the market?

  4. I own the regular Pax and with regular daily use I would have to clean it at the very least every week, sometimes twice a week. I heard the Pax 2 improved on this, although I am sure you will still need to clean it pretty regularly. Also, piper cleaners and alcohol are the best way to get the res out, hard with the Pax to recover the resin.
