Crossing autos

  1. So my initial plan for this summer was to grow some autos outdoors, but I have already ordered two strains, northern lights, and ak 47, both autos. So I've been thinking, what if I were to use colloidal silver on both, collect the pollen, order some more, and make my 2nd grow a seed grow for autos. However I have several questions.
    1. Will the next generation be all autos? I will be crossing for example, Northern Lights x AK 47, or Northern Lights x Jack Herer Auto
    2. What is the easiest method of pollen collection?
    3. Will the next generation produce a variety of different phenos because of the cross?

  2. Interested in response, subbed.

  3. Colloidal silver will give you feminized seed, or so I’ve read. So it won’t work for what you want. You need a male and good luck finding one. I haven’t yet found a seed seller who sells regular auto seed. Sensi Seed sells a Ruderalis/ Indica but the ones I bought didn’t Blume in six weeks of 18-6 light.

  4. just did the whole process.. Sts spray is way more reliable and was my method. Currently in second round now playing with reversing photos.. Google how to make sts spray on a website called steemit. That is the recipe I followed and instructions.. Spray the auto you want to be the dad starting day 15.. You will have pollen for a lady planted the same time

  5. that method makes feminized seeds.. But why not make fem if you can make 500 at a time

  6. 1. Yes they will be autos.
    2. Most people use the bag method of putting a bag over the branch when it's ready to harvest and shaking it into the bag, some people remove the branch and rub the pollen sacks over a screen with a catch below. Others still just put a paper collar under the plant and let it drop the pollen naturally (Requires no airflow over the plant to work and a very secure environment)
    3. Yes they will essentially be an F1 cross and the offspring will have a thousand different phenos.

  7. I see auto regs all the time. You can even buy pure ruderalis to make your own autos from scratch.

  8. I haven't used the sprays yet, However! I did discover that if you let your autos grow past their peak they produce their own seeds, and you can still smoke the flower,
I have heard using spray you cannot smoke or shouldn't smoke plant thats sprayed with the silver?
uncertain of that. I wouldn't personally
