It's been tracked down to a problem with the IPB software itself...their techs have been alerted and are looking into it... Supposedly the problem is limited to certain browsers...AFAIK, there are issues with Chrome on PC, but Firefox seems to be working for most... Sorry...can't offer much more than that...
Whole site has been acting glitchy for me for the last few hours. Can't access PMs or likes/quotes also get nothing when I hover over a user name....
Im having issues with the pic uploader. I'm not sure if its related but like jmick said I seem to be running into little glitches here and there. Ok I'm sorry I may have posted this in the wrong spot.. I just tried to upload my pics from another device Instead of my phone. It came up with a code.. "413 request code too".. Not sure what that means. Maybe too big? But I tried with pics I have uploaded just fine before.
Yes, that error is saying the file is too big...it's been happening to others as well...even when files are well within the limits... This too is being looked into...
So does that mean if we are using chrome, we can't quote? The person I want to quote from will never know I responded to them if I just "like" their post. This probably needs to be fixed, no?
to quote on chrome i have to put my cursor in the post box, and hit back space until i can see the grey lettering "type your post here" or what not... then i hit quote and it will work super frustrating, we are already well aware of this
hmmm - I just did it and a word balloon popped up saying "quote" I hit and it it quoted . . . . . but I can't do it again. Now THAT is frustrating LOL
SIRSOG - did you erase how to do it? The trick is to make sure your mouse is over the 1st letter I think
I had this issue using chrome, but switching to firefox fixed it, but as of just now, I still can't quote in chrome.
in chrome i have to do that process i was talking about... i have to be able to see "reply to this topic" in grey letters while my cursor is active in the post box, before i hit quote
