BestValueVacs?

  1. Hello all, try not to bash me to hard as I am brand new to this.

I have a couple pounds of frosty trim that I am looking to make into shatter. I am looking for the best equipment with hopefully not spending more than 1500$ to achieve this. I have been visiting http://www.bestvaluevacs.com/ and I have noticed a couple different things. I thought you needed a shatter vac and or a vacuum oven, but my friend said no that you only needed one or the other. He also suggested that I try a closed loop system and I saw those on there website as well, but not sure if that is what I should get? I don't need anything too crazy as I am not going to be making shatter constant, like I said I only have a couple pounds of trim and I guess from time to time I can use buds if I choose to make shatter that way, but for now just off the frosty trim. I also am not saying this website is the best to order from. I just know that's what one of my friends uses and said it was the best/cheapest stuff he found. Please feel free to point me in other directions as well. So with that being said here are my questions.

    1) What system would be best for me? A regular shatter vac (http://www.bestvaluevacs.com/shattervac.html) also which size would I need? Vacuum oven (http://www.bestvaluevacs.com/vacuumovens.html) I assume I would only need the basic 1200$ onePassive/Active Closed Loop System (http://www.bestvaluevacs.com/passive-closed-loop.html) I don't know if these are to advanced and are 1500$

    2) Do I need any other accessories? Pyrex pans, wax pads, temp gun? I noticed with some stuff I buy there's little options to get like a heat pad, pump or stuff like that. I don't know what all I would need.

    3) If I do need a pump what would be the right size pump to get?

    4) I think I got it narrowed down to Puretan, Power, or Whip it for my butane is there any other suggestions. If there are any really good guides feel free to point me in that direction as well.

    5) What determines if you get an oil, shatter, wax, budder, crumble? Is it just the difference in tempature? If I get one of these systems can I make either one?

  3. its been a while but ill try to answer what i can.

the point of adding vacuum is to not only help with purging but it allows the boiling temperature to be lowered as you add more vacuum. remember, it has to be continuous vacuum that has air flowing though so you evacuate the contaminates. by adding more vacuum and getting it to the right temp while purging is how you get that "hard candy", shatter consistency. as for what exactly to get and what not? call a place that sells this sort of thing. i dont mean vacuum chambers, i mean a setup that allows you to make concentrates. then ask all of the questions you like because youll get a far better answer then her at the city. hell, it is just a matter of time until some fucking dick slap comes in here, derails your thread and and acts like a fucking dbag.

with that said, it has been a long fucking while since i dabbled in this on a production scale so everything i have written is probably fucking wrong lol! but i think i am still in the ball park. seriously though, find a company on the net that sells and deals with the entire set up, not just piecing it out. then call up a sells rep, spin a good story and make it seem like you have a company credit card. then get all of the info you can. do this to 4 or 5 times and you'll be ready to make an informed purchase or at least get a plan of action together. good luck broski. sorry i wasn't more help.....

Well thank you for writing back, maybe that's why no one was writing back. I contacted the company as they sell all the products, so I don't see why the wouldn't be able to help me out especially if I am willing to spend up to 1500$ to purchase something from them. I guess I will keep everyone posted on what they say. Would you happen to know any other places? I searched and found my website and http://www.provacusa.com/, so I will look for others. LMK. thanks

I also found this guide that seems to be very useful
