Venting Outside?

  1. How safe is it to vent your exhaust to the outside of your shed? Security wise

  2. depends on were the shed is

  3. carbon filter ??? Neighbors how close

  4. Carbon filter, Neighbors not close enough. Only thing I have to worry about is the heat signature from the exhaust

  5. Unless the neighbors are miles away and you never get a visitor, even the mail man, friends, family a carbon filter is necessary to vent outside. All it takes is 1 random passer by or unexpected visitor. But if that's the case why care about a heat signature since nobody is around?

  6. Killset nailed it....because of my job i've noticed a few grows...but while I dont care some people would run right to the police

  7. I have a carbon filter so smell isn't the issue. My only issue would be a helicopter with flir

  8. go through the floor

  9. Can that not cause mold?

  10. I just want to know if it's safe to have my exhaust venting outside.. I have no smell issues or anything.. my only worry would be how warm the heat exhausted is compared to the outside air.

Everyone has smell issues even in legal states, especially considering venting outside. Don't play with cheap carbon filters. What does it matter if the temp of the outside air is different? Of course it's different. It doesn't matter. I vent outside because I don't want that heat back in my house causing my a/c to run more in the summer.

  12. I don't have a cheap carbon filter. I'm worried about a helicopter with Flir seeing the heat pouring out the exhaust like a fountain.. that isn't something to be concerned about?

  13. Bro I don't know your area or how law enforcement patrols your sky. You're growing weed there is risk involved. How much of that risk you can handle is on you. In my area have very little concern. Smell will get you caught before a helicopter. Most law enforcement agencies don't have the time, people, money and resources to be unnecessarily flying choppers around.
