  2. I used to but not anymore lol got annoying.

  3. Yeah lickle baby ones

  4. Trying to. Can't find someone to help me with the last bits, and salons want to douse my head in chemicals. No thank you.

  5. Yeah, I know what you mean! Salons are always a horrible choice. If I was close enough to you I'd totes help you out. My dread babies are free forming. I had dreaded everything but my bangs and front pieces. It's just doing it's thing now.

  6. That's what I ended up doing. 95% is dreaded already. I have loose roots, some free hair, and some crossover, but I'm letting it free form from here.

  7. I used to.
Did them myself when I was 18- probably should have waited longer, my hair was still pretty short (my school had quite strict policies) so they were little 2 inch waxy things.
Grew them all throughout uni and for a few years after, had them maybe may 05 to march 13 so near 8 years. By that point they were past waist length and Id have to be careful about sitting on them.

Got rid of them because they were getting real heavy, especially after a shower and as my hairs strarting to thin out on top anyway it was putting a lot of strain on it. Also I started jiujitsu a few months before I cut them off, and while at first it helped breaking my fall (tucked down the back of my gi jacket and hanging out the bottom) like having a crash mat with me all the time untill i learned to fall properly it was a bit uncomfortable when fighting off my back and id often get it pinned down and then try to move and got stuck by it.

  8. I'm growing my hair at the current time and I'm thinking about making the dreads in the future :) I really adore all that cool ideas with them, like in this gallery for example 30 Gorgeous Dreadlock Styles for Girls — Rasta Your Dreads! :) But my hair for now is too short fir such experiments :D
I also like the idea with making dread from the dyed hair, especially in such unusual colours like bright blue, green, red... :D I saw some examples of such style, looks very cool!
The only thing which makes me a bit uncomfortable about the dreads is that I heard that it's hard to wash them carefully... Or maybe it's just a stereotype?
I also like the idea with bantu knots but I'm not sure if they'll be good for my face shape

  9. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but white people dreads look a little tacky to me. It did start off as a black pride thing (correct me if I'm wrong).

  10. It's the buffalo soldier in the heart of America. Dreadlock Rasta.

  12. I have four locks in random places on my head. Three under the hair, the other one if you look from a foot away you can see it.

One I made in April like 4 years ago, another in sept of that year. The other one naturally formed somehow a year ago, and i have one that started forming three months ago and I'm just going to let it happen.

I don't understand why they formed, I brush my hair pretty much every day. It's cool though
