I use orange chronic to clean the black shit out but I noticed it was taking the paint off too, the teal color comes off like little plastic flakes. I started using rubbing alcohol and salt and it seems to be working a bit better and it does not take off the paint. By now though the paint already looks pretty bad and I was wondering what I can use to take it off? Dang it I was trying to upload a picture from my phone but I can't.
Try paint remover. It's a product you can buy by the quart in hardware stores. Just make sure it's safe for glass (read the can).
