  2. Help i have twisted leaves on my seedling plant . Been vegging for the past month. I just started getting fungus gnats trying to control my humidity. Its a closet grow. I dropped my humidity and temp for a day or so to dry it out. Plus just sprayed organic insecticide soap. Going to top my soil with sterile playground sand. But the twisted leaves is odd. I have leaf damage from the damn gnats.

Can leafs curl sideways because of humidity stress? They are a nice healthy green color for the most part but leaves are deforming . Started off normal

Whats your ph? Im guessing low because of the bark and rest of medium. Ideally it should be at 6.5 or as close to as possible

  4. I think the ph is at 7 . But making sure

  5. Do you have a testwr?

  6. I do and it was showing ph at 7

  7. Well as usual i am wrong sir, 6.5 is optimal to have, lowering it can only help. What are you feeding it?

  8. Using dr earth nutrients for veg. Feed them twice in 2 weeks. The taller ones are in a mainly shredded pet moss and perlite with a little soil

  9. Only one is twisting and looks like calcuim defecency. Is that right?

  10. Looks like Nitro def to me, the yellowing if leaves than browning and lighter color new growth. You have the NPK on the feed by chance.

  11. Yeah thats what the dr earth nutrients are. But was adding half strength and was added twice. About to water again. The last time i watered was saturday with nutrients. Should i add full strength to those two plants? Just dont want to burn the soil

  12. Also i have enzymes that i was going to add this time around

  13. I know they have NPK I meant their values. But as the other post said get rid of pests and see where you stand.

  14. so i called the store i bought the nutrients from and discribed it to them. My poor girls are just starving. I am not feeding enough and my temps and humidity is actually spot on. So the reason is food. They need it lol. Going to start alternating feeding everyother watering. I should be good. Their advice falls in line with what you guys are saying here. I asked if i could use my nutients as a foliar spray and they said i need a wetting agent. Any ideas how i can use it as a spray with out buying a wetting agent?

Id feed them normally before worrying about foliar sprays.

  16. i read the only way to address a calcium deficiency was with a foliar spray. Is that right?

Cal is immobile so a foliar spray would be best, but thats all id spray. Id feed rest as normal. Spray with lights out also. I thought you meant for reg nutes, sorry.

  18. Update on my plants. Water ph must have been the issue because they are growing great now.

Now i just have the tips on one of my plants turning brown. I have been giving nutrients like once a week.
