Sudden Death :'( (almost, unless I get urgent help)

I seriously feel like crying... I went in the day before yesterday and some of the plants had wilted. I emptied the reservoir and added plain RO water with H2O2 from the hydro store (3ml per gallon). I went in yesterday and it had gotten marginally worse... not too noticeable. I went in today and it spread to another plant. I have two 4x4 tables. On one table, it is spread throughout. On the other table it is not as prevalent. Here is a timeline.

Flood and drain - Hydroton - White Square Pots. ~75F daytime and 62F nighttime - Granddaddy Purple from Ken Estes (bought from Herbies this summer) - Advanced Nutrients (complete line) - Botanicare CalMag - Compost Tea from local Hydro Shop

    Tuesday -
Normal Maintenance. Noticed some droopy leaves on one branch. Thought it was overwatering. Changed the timing to flood less often and one time less overall. From every 2 hours and 5 times a day to every 3 hours and 4 times a day. Also noticed some bugs. Posted on this website.

    Wednesday -
Switched to flower. (should have waited, but it's been pushed back SO much due to upgrading rooms (been in veg for MONTHS-like 3- and I'm on a tight schedule for the next crop))
Problem I thought was a "fix"

I added GoGnats to my reservoirs to kill springtails. Everything was killed. No more signs of springtails. Plants were fine. leaves still didnt perk up, they'll come back soon.

    Thursday -
Everything was fine. Did normal maintenance. Was wondering about the leaves. Was wondering about the leaves. If they still aren't better by tomorrow then I'll flush.

    Friday -
Came in and was distraught. so many plants had wilted. Majority of what is in the pictures had already gone south. I flushed both reservoirs and added plain RO water with H2O2 to both.,

    Saturday -
Didn't get much worse. Did normal maintenance. Ph had swung from 5.8 to 6.5 in both reservoirs. Maybe salt build-up washing from the roots?

    Sunday-
Came in and noticed it had completely spread throughout the entire second table. I changed the reservoir again. Took all the water out and replaced with 20 gallons of RO water. Took pictures and got online to see what yall would see. Did not add H2O2. PH rose to about 6.5 in both reservoirs. The reservoir that doesnt have as many sick plants had the ppm go up to about 150 and the one where it is taking over had the ppm at about 350

What is the problem? What could help? Please help! I don't want to lose my entire crop.

  3. Yeah... I had SERIOUS computer issues trying to post this and didn't want to type it all out again.. I added pictures now.

  4. Jeez they do look bad, now when you had your springtails and we figured that out they looked fine right? Just had the tails in there? Than you used the no gnat stuff or whatever and everything went downhill!?

  5. Yeah. They looked fine with the springtails in there. 99% of the people who used gognats said they didn't have a problem, but there's one guy who did.

EDIT: One more google search for "gognats wilt" this time. Found a couple more guys.

I didn't want to link to another site, so I took snapshots. Most people have no problem, but mixing 3 oz solution in a 20 gal res was my EXACT problem.

  6. Honestly I have zero experience with gognats and have no clue wtf is in it. Too late to keep the springtails (some times Im right lol) can you post pic of contents of gognats ill try and do some research while Im at doctors office and hopefully we can turn this around.

  7. Ok so seems its cedar oil guar gum and other oils and wetting agents. Ive never done flood tables, but my suggestion based on what makes sense to me since you already flooded w RO maybe top feed/flush and get all that shit and oil off hydroton and roots. At this stage im not sure much more can do harm, but with all the oils maybe the flood isnt getting all the way to the top so flooding from top may help...again just a guess

Yeah. Here's the actual ingredient list attached.

Top-feeding seems to be the only hope. I don't know how to wash the oil off the roots.. IF coating them so they aren't drinking is indeed the problem. I always let the roots grow into the table once they grow outside of their pots (so I can't pick them up and take them anywhere). It works well and I get huge crops, but this is the first downside I've encountered.

I think I'm going to start on my backup plan. I have about 40 seeds maybe. Hopefully many of them are feminized and I can do some 12/12 from seed to make up for anything I lose. I'll google what I can yield on that. When I go into the room in 4 hours, I hope the horror is over and it's all uphill from here. I pray they're not worse.
