Make A Bowl From CO2 cartridge?

Discussion in 'DIY and Homemade' started by AnActualBear, Dec 7, 2015.

  1. How would I cut the top off of an empty CO2 cartridge to use as a bowl?

  2. Cheapest way that wouldn't require any sort of power tools would be a hacksaw with a metal blade.

  3. It would work pretty well I think. Better than those cheap aluminium pipes from China, at least health wise.

  4. Yeah those canisters are made of stainless steel

Thats a great idea actually, dunno why i never thought of that xD but yeah i think a hacksaw would be your best bet, any blade would probably work but one for metal would def be best. (The finer the teeth the better)

Edit: Do you mean NOS canister? Not sure what a CO2 canister looks like

  6. any blade won't work. A wood blade in a hacksaw won't even touch metal. There's many different types of blades for many different types of jobs

  7. Yea if the teeth are too big itd be pretty much impossible but it depends on the grade, as you said theres many different types and a lot of the fine teeth variety would work too if you havent one soley meant for metal. Although if its not a dedicated metal one it will blunten very quickly

  8. Lol just buy a metal blade.
