I had both over the past years a space case and Santa Cruz shredder. Now since I lost both I need a new one. I know there are lots of threads on this but couldn't find a recent one Is the 3 piece SCS worth it? So which one SCS or SC?
Space case is the best in my eyes. i have a 4 piece scout and a large 4 piece ti. don't really use the scout that much anymore since i just roll a joint now if i go somewhere. and it holds enough to pack 2 bowls for my incredibowl, but lugging my incredibowl and scout grinder around has been too hard to be incog, never have any issues with it or metal flakes or anything. i didn't realize how large the large space case would be. the ti finish is really nice and it will hold my hole bag if i chose to grind it up. i have never handled a scs nor looked at one. if space case gives me a reason to get one then i will but i have never had a issue with space case in the last 7 year.
