More guns in America would cause more problems in America. Americans area triggy happy culture. When making policy you must take into account not just what worked in other countries but why it worked.
I absolutely agree with knowing why policies in other countries do work. Sweden for example every person who turns of age must join the military. Thus every adult after service remains carrying. But they are also trained on hand weapons and have military background. But I don't necessarily agree that more guns would cause more problems. It is an overgeneralization of the issue
I think he will definitely fight for it. At least to not allow prison time for it. He said that no one should be out of a job or education or opportunities just because they were caught with weed. If everyone got a gun we would need a massive education for people on when it is okay to use deadly force even if youre being robbed. Too many people shoot first and ask questions later which is why more guns would cause more problems.
