Hermie? Bananas? HUH???

  1. This is my first grow/flower cycle and everything so I have these 3 plants, and they've been perfect up until today, I noticed these ball looking things... I'm scared 2 out of 3 of them are female plants that have turned into hermies. Only one of the plants has the ball looking things on it and theres only like 3 or 4 of them on it. The other one that I believe may have turned has one little tiny yellow hair looking thing growing out of the very top bud... Out of the 3 plants the 2 in question are both the smallest of the 3. They're about a foot and a half tall and the other is about just shy of a foot tall... all 3 were germinated and planted and flowered at the same time because the biggest one is now 2 1/2 feet tall... I do have the 2 smaller plants sitting up on platform like things to make them taller and closer to the lights which is much further away from them given the space im flowering all 3 plants in.. I do believe that it may have been something in the genetics that caused this because i have been keeping the temp and humidity at perfect levels all the time, and they have not been under any sort of stress what so ever. All 3 seeds weren't anything special, I just got them from bags of bud I got in the past, so I really have no idea what type of seeds they were but like I said it's my first grow :) I have attached pictures of both plants (the one i think has "balls" and the one with the "banana") any input and help on this would be greatly appreciated :) My big plant is 100% female and doing amazing and I don't wanna see anything happen to it (the seed came from my husbands best friend 2500 miles away) Thank you in advance!!!

  2. I think you may have planted seeds from a hermie. Cause it looks to me like you got some full blown chicks with dicks going on there.

  3. Thanks for the reply... that means I need to take them both out so they don't pollinate the 3rd one huh?

  4. I believe that would be the best option, however I have heard of people removing the pollen sacks by pinching them off.

  5. We removed them, my husband didn't want to take the chance of them pollinating the 3rd plant. I did catch it in time, none if the pollen sacks had opened at all so I think I'm in the clear :) Thank you again!!

  6. You better keep a close eye on them in case more form. I wasn't aware that pinching off what you could see would correct the problem....or it didn't for me. I had a batch hermie from hubs trying out his defoliating technique on a run...bad idea. We pinched off the first ones we saw but that didn't stop them from coming. Just keep a close eye on them in case. TWW

  7. We removed the entire plant, and I plan to watch the third one very closely just to make sure it hasn't already been pollinated by either of the 2 I just removed today (which none of the "balls" had not opened at all) if the third one turns out to be a hermie too I have 3 clones I bought that are in a different vegging area and they will be ready to flower in another week or so I believe (I'd have to look at the calender to be positive lol) but I KNOW there won't be any hermie issues with them and better yet I know exactly what they are :) I definitely appreciate the advice thanks!!
