Just swapped my soft white out, now I've got 3x 23w (100 equiv) daylight, so now total of 4,800 lumens of blue spectrum
$5 for a 4 pack of the 23w (100w equiv) at Walmart lol. I also have 2 clamp lamps right now, just ordered a pack of 2 way splitters. Next trip I'll be picking up 2 more clamp lamps and eventually a 125w (actual wattage) red spectrum CFL or two for flowering.
Just keep your cfls close about 3-5 inches, I usually veg seedlings with one bulb until a week or two then I add another, I use 4 bulbs to veg once it is about 3 weeks and usually that it until flower, I've noticed with my stuff seems like by week 3 I have about 3-4 nodes usually so just be patient they with take off shortly just make sure you are hitting all the basic steps
Update 10/19 Here's first photo of plant 2 in the coffee container. The little leaves look very different than the first ones leaves, looks like different genetics. (They came from 2 different bags) The bigger seedling (Plant 1) looks a little dry to me so I'm upping the humidity and watering again this afternoon. Advice and comments are great, thanks guys!
Watered plant 1, added more air circulation, still upping humidity. Added white paper to the cabinet walls until the Mylar arrives for light reflectivity. Also added some FF Ocean Forest soil to the surface of Plant 1 to help support the stem and give it some vigor. New photo added. Plant 1 (orange pot) : Day 5 of veg Plant 2 (coffee container) : Day 3 of veg
Germinating a 3rd seed as of now because I'm just not happy with the growth of the first seedling, so it's going to be there as a backup. (Also want to increase my odds of at least one female)
Ordered a pH control kit. I got a feeling my tap water pH is too high. Will adjust as it arrives in 3 days. On a side note I picked up some King Chem from a local dispensary and its now one of my new fav strains.
Update 10/21 Showing some growth on the seedlings! Photos attached, I l like how different the leaves are on the two, shows very different genetics. Third seed has not yet germinated. pH kit arrives tomorrow.
Update 10/22 Got my water pH in check now! Seedlings are looking fantastic, growth has improved dramatically. Photos attached.
The one in front was a surprise auto flower cannasutra, I've topped the mess out of and everything but is feeling in better then the photo period Berry white behind it lol
Update 10/30 Transplanted two of them and now running under 700w equiv CFLs. Photo attached, plant 1 is a bit over watered and not that happy about life.
