Root bound?

  1. So I have a Northern Lights Auto Fem in a 2 gal pot. Just entering week 2 of flowering. Yesterday morning it looked like this.

I watered and chalked it up to being stressed by the new LED. And this morning it looked like this.

Not great but much better. And then something interesting happened. I go to check on her and she's droopy as ever, just as bad as before.

Is this a rootbound auto? I don't mind the size, hence me planting in smaller pots, I want smaller plants.

Can I go on and eventually she will succumb to her living space and flower normally, or do I say fuck it and transplant.

  2. The first pic looks like you just watered it, they naturally droop sometimes. 2nd pic they look perked up, however they seem to be getting the claw. For the first time ever i have a plant with the claw, and have been unable to figure out what exactly causes it, although the internet is full of diff ideas, perhaps one of the knowledgeable folks here can give some solid knowledge.

  3. You say you just put it under a new LED? LED's are more harsh toward the plants than the hps lighting seems to be. So be careful and make sure your light isn't too close to the plant. Always hang LED's high and come down toward your plants slowly until you know what the plants can take. My plants don't droop when I water them. The might be a little droopy before I give them water, but water always perks mine back up if they are dry. The claw is usually associated with nitrogen toxicity/deficiency. Not sure that's what your problem is. Try raising your light some and see if that helps. TWW

In the second pic the plant on the right(edit i said left) is also looking deficient pics with lights off. You should go visit Loki25's Help with auto's thread it's in the indoor grower section. Sorry i couldnt be more help i am growing autos for the first time. Oh and your original question about transplanting autos, I dont think you are supposed to, like i said stop by lokis thread you should be able to find answers

  5. Thanks anyways man. I'm not going to transplant. I was aware of autos sensitivity to transplants and I'm against it. I watered and backed my lights off. She did perk right up for about a day but she's on the droop again. Maybe I'll back the lights off a little more and see what happens.
