So I've scrolled for quite a while and haven't seen anyone on here posting anything about and beautiful birds. I just got a budgie, and he's amazingly friendly and smart. He's only 2-4 months old, just starting his baby mault I believe. He loves music and singing along, and he dances sometimes. His larynx haven't completely developed yet, so he can't speak English. But he mouths words back at you, or copy the pitch you're talking in. He's very affectionate as well. I've only had him for 4 days now, and I have to say, this is the most happy, cuddly pet I've had in a while. His name is Yoda. Anyone considering getting a bird or parakeet rather?
Yea we have canaries kim,jong and il.. Sadly kim died last month. Used to have a budgie as a kid. He flew out the window never seen him again. Yoda looks very content; )
Nice bird. I had canaries before and am very tempted to acquire a new feathered friend. Birds make good company. Lol @Yoda
He's going through a mault right now, and he's a real asshole. He's getting pretty good at copying sounds though. I'm excited. I'm sorry about Kim and your childhood bird. Hopefully Jong and Il stick around for a bit. And yes, he's a happy member of the family now. Always trying to talk to everyone. Lol
