I've had this thought a couple of times with various variations on it. Something to ponder: IF life were part of a simulation or dream, it is likely that we would not be aware of it while in it. Furthermore, if death were just a stepping stone to another existence, it is likely that while living, we would not be aware of it. So yeah...possible in a way or another, "out there" speaking of course. This is one of the main reasons why world religions are as powerful as they are. They promise an existence beyond known existence.
what if youre in a coma. you've been in a coma since you were ten you wake up at 30 and realize everything you've learned, experienced, your entire reality was a figment of your imagination it turns out 1+1 makes no sense. it's gibberish. only in your comatose mind did you believe math was a real thing what's internet? information streamed through wires to a flat monitor? dont be dumb black holes? ww2? penicillin? aids? "you're making no sense" now you have to live a completely different reality. but you wish to go back. you cant
Isn't that what the jihadists think? Edit: before any bad vibes are had, I think it's a great question, and my first answering thought was there already are people who think like that So to pose you a question back, what if the world acted like this was just the dream and 'the real experience' awaited once the heart stops beating?
If this scenario is true then at the end of the day why not still live to the fullest in this dream? Sent from my VS986 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
