  1. I gotta sub up too can't wait to see this.

  2. it's great to have you here Toke

  3. I've just been totting up the weights from my 6 auto in DWC grow and I'm really happy with this run

    Bubblegum - 99g
    Russian rocket fuel - 29g
    Lemon something - died
    Blackberry - 44g
    Lavender - 57g
    Chocolate skunk - 203g

    Total = 432grams
    (15 and a quarter oz)

So dam near a pound, not bad at all.

Over 7oz from the chocolate skunk, is by far the best yield I've had from an auto

Blackberry was my favourite, such an amazing smell. Closely followed by bubblegum.

The rocket fuel is pretty horrible smelling. It smells exactly like diesel. Quite a lot of volume of bud but hardly any trichomes so just no weight to it.

The lavender was nice, really nice mellow high, but I'm in no rush to grow it again.

It's a shame the lemon one died. The chocolate skunk really stole the show on this one. I'm so glad I had that MarsHydro 100x3w (170w) LED, it really helped swell that side up near the end.

It's a shame I had to switch down to 400w from 600w half way through but I'm not sure if the plants noticed lol

  4. excited for this!! good luck!

  5. damn how big was that chocolate skunk at harvest?

  6. I didn't take a photo on harvest day unfortunately. But this one was a week or two before. That's a 6' tent with the light almost touching the ceiling lol. A lot of the colas had to by hung up by yo-yos otherwise they would just topple over

  7. What light was that under gold

  8. The first few weeks it was under a MarsHydro 100x3w (170w).
Then a few weeks under a 600w HPS.
Then for the remaining few weeks because it grew too tall, the HPS was dimmed to 400w and the LED was added to the side

  9. In my other tent I'm currently growing 13 strains in a 15 pod recirculating top fed hydro system that I built myself

For anyone who doesn't know, the plants were an experiment. I was looking for a plant to grow outdoors and would flower really early.

So I started at 16 hours lights on and 8 hours lights off. Every 5 days I increased the lights off time by 15 minutes.

Fools gold was the first plant to start flowering, but a couple more weren't far behind. Clones have been taken and 4 or 5 of my favourites will be kept until harvest when I will pick the best overall plant.

I want it to start flowering early, but also need flowering times to be short also. And of course I need the bud to be of good quality too.

Because of some bad weather I didn't actually get to put any clones outdoors this year but ill keep the chosen plant until next year when I'll take a load of clones and plant them out. Well, that's the current plan anyway.

Here's what they look like as of today. A couple of the plants look like they are finishing up already which is weird because they have only been flowering for about 6 weeks I think

  10. Im here. You are gonna have one FULL tent come harvest [IMG]. Excited to see how it goes. Good luck man.

  11. It's good to see you Blazer. I certainly hope so mate. Thanks

  12. Subbed up man really interested to see how that soil tent turns out

  13. Heya Danny, good to have you on-board mate. Me too lol

  14. it looks like I have thrips again. Dam, I have been clean for months too. They must have been hibernating in the soil. I knew I should have chucked that stuff out. It's been sitting there bone dry for months so thought it would have killed them off

I hope this doesn't turn in to a huge battle like last time, that went on for almost a year

Thats what the white marks are from?
Id like to see some root porn on one of those bad gals in post #49 LOL

  16. Since it's early in the grow... Would it be ok to use "Bug-B-Gon" ???

I had some problems...I used a Q-tip and got rid of the critters with Bug b gone..
    .
    Just wondering...

    If not , that's fine...

Just don't want someone getting on a soap box because I used it...
    .

  17. how do you fight thrips?

  18. yeah those marks are from them chomping on the leaf surface.

I can't show roots until harvest day unfortunately. Those black buckets are full of expanded clay balls, the reservoir on the floor holds all the water and once every half hour it's pumped up to the buckets and it freely drains back down in the reservoir

  19. I have never heard of it. Thanks man ill google it and see if I can get hold of some

  20. the last time I got rid of them I used Amblyseius cucumeris. They are a predatory mite that feeds on young thrips. With great enough numbers they manage to fully wipe out my infestation.

I just ordered 50,000 for £20, hopefully they will work just as well as before
