HELP HELP HELP QUICK (SMART POTS)

  1. I have to be short and to the point with this post, so please forgive me if I leave something out. I have a girl in a 25 gallon smart pot outdoors, growing beautifully; no problems. She's still in veg as far as I know.

I was faced with having to move the pot a ways due to space and the roots had grow through the bottom and ripped. There were a noticeable amount. I immediately watered with a gallon of water + cold pressed seaweed for root support.

What's the damage you think??!?! Will she live??!!

(I know there's the whole waiting and seeing but that isn't an option right now... to anxious.)

    Thanks in advanced

  2. Roots can grow back just fine in smart pots. The ones outside the pot create a capillary effect with the ground. Some people move them intentionally to keep that from happening. It's a version of root pruning. You'll be fine.

  3. I'm just worried because it went from reaching for the sky to noticeably wilted over...
    I'm bummed...

I was hoping it would maintain the appearance but I just checked and the wilting is ever so present..

  4. probably just a little shocked is all. she'll snap outta it. the kelp will help with root growth and stress. like mentioned above, the smart pots will root prune unless you set them on the ground but even then, the root ball in the 25 gallon should be enough to keep her alive. don't worry 'bout it.
