Molasses residue or MOLD?

    Hi, I have never seen this white stuff on the side of my fabric pots until today after I gave the first dose of blackstrap unsulphered molasses tea. It must be sugary residue... right? :-/ ....please... ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1439436291.266503.jpg

    Washed right off with water. I'll post again tomorrow and let you know if it came back.

    no need to yell. did it come back? looks like mold to me but I could be wrong. i'd think if it were sugar from the molasses it'd be spread around more, to everywhere the molasses went

    Almost looks like something green/yellow also.

    It happens with organic nutrients.Those are what some would call beneficial microbes. Unless you are growing indoors, then that might become uncontrolled and that wouldn't be very good.
