  1. Thanks IC I appreciate the compliments! The harvest has just begun I assure you! Stay tuned

Hey bud! Thank you I agree the cab could really produce if I figured out pot sizes for soil sog and a strain from clone for it. I might consider it if I ever move to a little apartment haha. Until then it's the play room though. Or at least until the HOGs are done. Then I can veg in there again.

Thanks for the resource I'll definitely check out that YouTube. I wonder what kind of non canna I can grow in the greenhouse in the summer? Or if I should just devote that space specifically for canna and everything else in the backyard be non canna. I definitely want the fall - spring veggies going this year! I recently bought helllllaa non canna seeds of all kinds of plants for this year's season. In a few weeks I can begun starting things!

Hey 3D!! Thanks man, I'm glad the succulent root tek worked for you! Succulents sure are strong perhaps the most hardy plants of all because they're nearly 100% litfa. Lemme know how that succulent grows, I've had interesting results with cloned succulents though it may just be because I haven't totally figured out a cacti soil yet. For awhile I was adding a ton of perlite and sand and stuff. My latest batch was something like 50:40: 10 coco perlite VC and a few cups of lava rock dust.

  2. So I just got done harvesting some more plants as well as trimming. I cut down the two grapefruit badasses and M3. I trimmed up the purple stars and Bubblicious. No pics yet of dried ganj I'll maybe do it tomorrow before work. I usually have Mondays off so I'm going for Monday harvest & trim in batches since I can only dry so much at one time. The golden Jesus is about ready to come down right now but i think I'll take her one more week.

  3. Great work dingus!! How does this harvest compare to last??

  4. Thank you LLB! It's phenomenal, completely blows the last harvest out of the water. It's mostly due to strain though. The only plants in this batch I've ran before are somango and golden Jesus both of which are retiring after this round. Well I've ran the Bubblicious outdoor but man this indoor bub beats the outdoor for sure!

It's really interesting to me comparing the outdoor bub from last round and this rounds because the outdoor got stunted at the end due to temps and PM - I sprayed with potassium bicarbonate and burnt all the hairs lol.

I reckon everything from the closet will make good rosin except the somango cuz I know she just doesn't really juice well. I've already pressed a little Bubblicious and purple star. Purple star squeezed out a surprising amount of juice for its small little buds and little amount of trichomes. Bubblicious rosin is about the same as before kinda sappy runny.

As far as yield goes I have no expectations except I hope to get more than 5 oz. I haven't weighed the Bubblicious or purple star yet, that's something to add to my to do list today lol.

The one thing that sucks though is all the damn Rove beetles. There are HELLA. When I'm harvesting the second thing I do after trimming ran leaves is to pick them all out of the buds. I'm happy to say I've got 95% of them. I do another bug picking before and after I dry trim a week later from initial harvest.

I absolutely need to do something to get these guys out of here. I recognize they're a beneficial predatory insect but they have no place indoors. They came in when I had the soil beds in the greenhouse. Now I need to keep them from flying out of the soil. I was thinking I could buy a micron screen to place on top of each soil bed? Though that only limits them to the soil and they can still crawl their way out i suppose. I really just need to kill them all but how? Neem and karanja doesn't affect them I'm pretty sure..

Don't get me wrong they're good guys. They're just idiots who suck at flying and try to fly in the closet despite there being constant airflow so they get blown onto a bud where they get stuck and die

  5. Hey Dingus!

How are you squeezing those buds? I was reading a thing where they squeeze a bud between sheets of parchment with a hot hair straightener. Then they scrape up the resin and fire it up on a nail. Looks pretty easy and a roll of parchment is cheap and would probably last you forever unless you bake with it. Good to have around if you make edibles in the oven.

Been meaning to order one off the bay but keep forgetting.

  6. Hey Jerry! That sure is the way to do it. I'll make a write up soon about it since I just got a new toy for it - 600lb force Irwin quick grip bar clamp. Makes the rosin really juice and with nearly no plant matter in the oil without any filtering.

  7. I've been pretty busy lately and this week is gonna be equally busy so I wanted to quickly recap on what I've been up to plant wise. I've harvested almost all of the golden jesus, I didn't want to put up more hangers on the ceiling of the other room because I was worried of crowding while drying so I decided to leave a little going for a bit longer.

The m3 and gfba are done drying. I haven't done much smoke testing yet but I got 20 grams from m3 and 10 grams from gfba. I also got 30 grams from the Bubblicious and 25 grams from the purple star. Soo

    M3: 20
    GFBA: 10
    Bub: 30
    PS:25

85g total so far with many more plants still get to chop down. I'll have pics sometime in the relatively near future? I have some photos on my phone to upload as well that I haven't yet but I will get around to it!

  8. Wow it has been a long time since I've updated! I'm finally almost done harvesting. I need to figure out a way to dry more at a time than I am currently. I've had to wait for stuff to dry in order to harvest more. But its okay because a lot of things finished at different times and The One can go up to 18 weeks. Today I will harvest the very last bit of TO at 14.5 weeks.

I have 8.1 oz total yield so far with more finished today I haven't weighed yet. I'm hoping to be around 12 oz finished! There's a little over an oz of cabinet weed too included in there so that 12 oz isn't all from the closet beds. Purple star and gfba even tho gfba got moved into the closet because it got to big I count it as cabinet weed haha. So more like 10 11 oz is realistic. We'll see!

I'm smoking a bowl of 13.5 week The One right now and getting ready to trim up the last bit and then harvest the last small branches on the plant. Next Thursday or friday I will have total yield! I'm gonna do a photodump soon I promise

  14. forget the mop use dat swiffer! First let me add some drool and skeet 2 tho aha
thank ya 3D! They sure are chunky, I'm so excited to get this final weight! I have a lot of airy and larfy stuff unfortunately but I guess it just means more for the rosin pile haha.
thank you IC!! Most of these shots I used my phones editing software to color correct. I use flash in all my photos because it seems to allow it to have a sharper picture, some time it over exposes certain areas tho. I always go over it with the editor and adjust the color temp of the photo as well as saturation contrast and brightness and sharpness to try to make it look exactly as it looks to my eyes

  18. Thanks snoop! Welcome to the party :p

time to get things going again! I planted 10 new seeds for my cabinet 12/12 from seed. I Forgot to mention it but I cut down the plants in there on Thursday when I finished harvesting TO. except for the hammer of the gods since they have another few weeks.

    The seeds are:
    2x Jack bagseed
1x Jerry weed (BlackBerry/ white widow?)
    1x gfba
1x gfba x TO (i had a gfba male which I took some pollen from and dusted around. Literally none of the pollen took except for a single seed which is pretty premature. Idk if it'll sprout but I've got my hopes high)

    3x will bagseed
    1x Mark bagseed
    1x purple star

With these seeds I'm looking for variety smoke. It gets boring having the same weed for months on end. I believe strain tolerance is a bigger factor for me than total cannabis tolerance though they are also interrelated.

  19. Idk if I mentioned it but my second mars panel, half the diodes went out so I'm sending it out to be fixed. In the mean time I installed a t5ho. At the same time I've been meaning to re do my cabinet so I did a lot. Cleaning and then foil taped the fuck out of it haha. A lot brighter in there now or at least more reflective over the glossy white. I ran out of tape though so I'll have to finish the right door another time
