Ahhh that makes sense! I'm too lazy to do all the pics by computer though haha. It gets kinda difficult for me to find which photos are which when they all the photo names are strings of numbers. Glad to have ya TJ!! thanks it is very sweet. hoping for a bountiful harvest of sweet tomatoes this year!! Also thanks for posting that pdf and link in the no-till thread! I've been meaning to start a backyard compost pile but have been lazy and not gone looking for the information

Prob put up new things heard they are testing new site now MY CURRENT GROW http://forum.grasscity.com/topic/1334958-Jay's-organic-adventures-and-experiments
So since I transplanted the the two monks and Danish gold into the 15 gallon the monks have about doubled in size and the Danish gold is flowering nicely. It'll be tiny though. I might get like one nice nug off of it. Also:
thanks!! Here's two photos of that room so you can see what I've got going on in there. I have a lot more succulents in another room but they're almost all really small. The plants in these two photos are as follows: 5x aloe Vera 1x aloe hybrid 1x purple echeveria 1x painted echeveria 1x furry echeveria 1x kalanchoe 1x opuntia hybrid 1x (idkwhat it's called, matting green little cacti) 1x (idk what its called, medium cactus with pink&white spikes) 1x purple passion 1x lemon balm 1x rosemary 1x pink rose 1x crackerjack marigold 1x dill 1x green onions
Cool. I love succulents but for some reason they won't grow for me. They will stay alive for years and even flower for me but REFUSE to grow even with cannabis. Good thing I have greater luck with cannabis.
I have a little bit of a similar issue but only with succulents I've rooted from leaves to form new plants. I think it has to do with the potting mix. Apparently a great all around mix for succulents & cacti if I remember correctly is 1 part base (spm, coco, leaf mold etc) 1 part aeration 1 part large grain sand. Apparently the recommended sand is a kind of sandblasting sand which can be found and bought pretty easily but is mostly available in 100lb bags which is much more than I need. In lieu of that I mix my soil with extra perlite and lava rock dust as well as a scoop of dirt from outside. I have Sandy/clay soil outside. My aloes and large succulents are doing very well but all of my small ones seem to stay small or die back. I've noticed that mbg SSTs are very effective for them though. It anything I'd consider SSTs to be the one magic bullet for all gardening. I've also read succulents prefer smaller pots though I'm not sure if this is to aid in preventing over watering or if the roots just don't go very deep or spread out much
It's bout time for an update yeah? I'll do the greenhouse and the baby cab. I'll update on the closet when the lights come back on. I've finally flipped it to flower now that I've used up my neem oil and almost certainly gotten rid of the thrips which have been bothering me for awhile. Let's start with the tomatoes! Heirloom pink Brandywine Heirloom German queen Sun gold cherry Next up misc plants: mammoth sunflower in a 1 gal. I've got some of these sprouting in the hugelkultur. I'm excited since they won't be bound by a mere 1 gallon pot limiting their growth. Mint Lavender. I cut off almost all the flowers to encourage it to grow larger and not just make flowers I wanna get this thing as big as possible and put it in the ground at the end of the season. Oops I forgot to take pics of the peppers. I transplanted them the other day into 2 gals. Weeds! Tri-pot 2x monk 1x Danish gold Danish gold is looking nice. It'll be a small harvest off this one for sure maybe a couple grams but I'm excited for it. Im interested to see how it nugs up. Right now its looking like all sativa airy structure. Big girls: I've harvesredthe majority of seeds on these plants. Some even early purposefully because now they're flowering I want all their energy devoted to that. Its pretty difficult to pick out some seeds in the monk#2. I think I'm going to cull monk#1 after I get all the seeds off her. She's pretty ugly and has been finicky since she went outside while the other two big girls took it nicely. Also the but structure so far is far from favorable. Pretty lame cuz I've gotten the most seeds off her so far. Leb27v2 doing fabulous. Easily my favorite plant right now. Ill be running tons of the seeds from this girl in the greenhouse next year. Monk#2 is nice but not enough branching. Also interesting airy sativa ish structure. Monk#1(poopy) Also I got around to installing the fans. And here's what the temps& humidity are looking like now. I have two monitors one gets direct sunlight for a few hours daily. The other doesn't and I think is a more accurate reading of ambient air temp. Baby cab: so after sexing I culled some males and some undesirable possible females. Leaving me with 1x kandy kush x wonderkush#5, 1x sleestack skunk x wonderkush#5, 1x mystery 3 x wonderkush#5 and the afgoo bagseed. From left to right we have M3, afgoo, SS, KK. They're on 24/0 now to reveg.
Hello Dingus, figured id'e stop in and say WWWOOOWWW,, lots of likes Bud..great work they call me WWW or just Witch lol at your service sir
Here's pix of the closet I took last night since I changed the light cycle to flowering. I might have gone a bit crazy with the lollipopping but I felt it was necessary. Everything I cut off was not reaching to the top of the canopy. Jesus og x golden ticket & somango #2 Somango #2 & somango #3 For reference of how much I lollipopped
It's been awhile since I took photos of the closet plants without the LEDs so I took some last night. I wish there were a setting on this phone to have the flash always in so I could then use the focus nicely with it but there isn't. instead I have too use a flashlight with one hand and my phone in the other so pictures aren't so great. I did get a good one of the big somango#2 sharing a pot with somango#3 though. Golden ticket x Jesus og & somango#2 The golden ticket has really taken over that pot. Here's a photo of the somango#2 its sharing with. Big somango#2 I forgot to take a pic of somango#3 but it's okay there's not much too see with that one. Next time I'm gonna do one per pot or at least start flowering sooner. I would have started sooner with this round but I had to be sure I've gotten rid of the thrips.
So the baby cabinet has been on 24/0 for at least a week now and there seems to be no slowing or change yet, the plants still seem to be flowering. I think/hope they'll start really revegging within the next two weeks. The thing is also I want to keep them in these solo cups so it'll only add like 16 is of soil to the no till pots when they get transplanted. I started them too early for sure. But I guess if I had to cull more I would cull the ss and kk. I like this m3 and the afgoo bagseed a lot. M3 has oddly only grown 3 blade leaves. I wonder if it will stay like this forever? I kind of like this trait. It's awesomely compact and happy. Afgoo is no joke about frost! Kk & ss Ss close-up. A little frost going on.
Naw I'm gettin too lazy to keep a thread goin lol, so I've been updating every now and again in the "*No time for a journal" thread
