If you have the ability to put up supplemental lighting, then I would recommend it. There is a big difference between 24 hours of light and ~14 hours of light. With the decrease in hours of light, your plants are likely to flower a little, then revert back to vegetative growth. That is wasted time that they could be using to build both root and branch structure. You can slowly wean them off the added light, or switch them off completely in autumn. Don't get me wrong. Even without the added light, you can end up with decent sized plants. But why not go for the glory.
Gubble Bum greenhouse update 6-13-2015. These were taken this morning. They are all thriving except this girl. I had a guy come over and he tried some motivational techniques. Let's hope it worked. I am seriously contemplating whether I should put in an alternate.
Purple OG Kush greenhouse update 6-13-2015. These were also taken today. This is the plant that had a branch snap. I lost most of the leaves, but the branch structure survived and is showing new leaf growth. Here are some panoramic views.
I didn't know what to do with the clones I cut, so I will be putting 8 of them in this ice chest for a mini light deprivation project. I don't expect a whole lot, just a little something to puff on. I still don't know what to do with these.
So since I live in this same valley I was wondering how everyone is going about this whole outdoor being illegal and such? I'm still outdoor and had a helicopter above me today for an uncomfortable amount of time. Shiting my pants alil.
It all depends on what county and city you live in the city I'm at its not illegal to grow out doors. It's just silica? It will help to tolerate the heat.
I no the county isn't legal cuz they just passed something like last month but I've been hearing if you live in city limits it goes by what the city says??
Started my 1st journal if you wanna stop by bro http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1372366-Humboldt-kid-living-in-central-Cali
Like Cen_Cal_Care said, it all depends on the county/city that you reside in. The county I live in still allows outdoor growing, but there is a plant limit (that I am staying under). Even the plant limit varies from county to county. One of the counties next to us prohibits both outdoor and indoor growing.
