Mad Max: Fury Road

  1. Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that Borderlands looks like Mad Max? And Fury Road is an action movie, but a very well executed one with some brilliantly choreographed sequences and complex characters. Charlize Theron totally steals the show, too.

Ex Machina is also great. I saw it opening weekend in Manhattan and Alex Gibney (writer/director) came out at the end for a surprise Q&A.

  3. Uhhh...visually it was awesome. The acting was terrible.

By far one of the best! "Oh what a day! What a lovely day!" So good I watched the first 3 again after it.

  5. the original film was the best

  6. Love all the Mad Max films. Fury Road brought the goods though it was a bit surprising to see Tom Hardy's Max character take a step back a bit and Charlize Theron's (who's always nice to look at and is a great action star) Furiosa character take the lead at a point. Awesome film. The pace was good throughout.
