Leaves Folding in half upward (pictures included)

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by yaboikev, Apr 7, 2015.

  1. I have encountered a problem today, one of my plants leaves started folding in half upward, as you could see in the pictures below.

Yesterday , my plant was sick and I analyzed it and did some research. It was a magnesium deficiency, I knew because there were brown/blackish spots emerging in the middle of the top leaves, so I flushed it with phd water and nutrients , 1 tsp grow big in a gallon of water, but only used half the gallon.

    Details of plant -
32 days old , in the Vegetative state. Humidity is at 60% , Temps , 76-79 Degrees F. 250 Watt hps light in a cool tube.

Any suggestions on how I could resolve this issue , or is it something that i should worry about?

Pls take a pic with the lights off your camera is saying no

we need contrast. I doubt your plant is all yellow everywhere

Im seeing some skinny leaves usually indicative of heat stress with some minor cupping.  Your bottom leaves are the ones to look at. im seeing i think root rot in the good picture thats clear and properly colored

  3. Looks like heat stress.

Raise your lights and/or increase airflow.

I agree with the guy above. The colors washed out.

Looks almost like nitrogen toxicity on one cola.

  4. Thank you Pokesmot, I did exactly as you said. I lowered the lights away from the plant. It seems like It has a nitrogen toxicity as well, I let the soil dry out overnight. I will take more pictures today when i get a chance. Any other advice? can i message you personally ? Im in great need of assistance,
