Dabbing with Herb Iron?

Hi,

I'm a long time reader and have Bought things off this site but kind of a new poster. Anyways I have for awhile now been looking to get a E Nail for dabbing cause I the have to keep heating a nail with butane and plus it's buetane with isn't as good for you. I just want to be able to hit wax a fairly quickly matter with our reheating a nail. Only issue is the E nails can be like several hundred bucks! Anyways I just found out about this tool called the Herb Iron. Which allows you to hit herb with no buetane or flame from the ceramic tip and have really been thinking about ordering it asap. I know that it's not always on and there is a button to heat it up but from a cold temp I have seen videos say it only takes 10 to 15 seconds to heat it up red and that's perfect for me.

I am just wondering if anyone here on this forum has had any personal experience using it for dabbing wax or concentrates? As I really couldn't find info on this. I Have seen a couple of videos on YouTube of people using it for just that and it looks like it works well the one video the guy even says that it works very well with it. You can even do it from a bowl instead of off a nail from one video. Just stick the Herb Iron into a bowl or nail and then have your dab on a dabber and touch it to the Herb Wand and it hits it. Or I guess you could just drop some was on a domless nail then just touch the Herb Iron to the wax on the nail. Another site list 10 ways to dab with out buetane or a skillet and it lists the Herb Iron but, it says it's unpleasant session because it taste like metal when your hitting it. That could be just one person's experience, some bad wax, or the person doesn't know what they are talking about. But you would think if people are hitting it using regular marijuana it would give the same taste right? From personal experience and other people's experience with dabbing take a hit off a ceramic nail has the best hit/taste. So would that be the same with this? I don't get how it would taste like metal of its a ceramic tip? But as far as sturdiness it can easily crack ect. A titanium nail is the best for sturdyness. From what I have seen that with plant for it works and taste good especially cause your not using a lighter/buetane.

If anyone on here can let me know your personal experience with this and if possible from more then one person that would be great! Also I don't care that you have to plug it in and that if dropped it can burn stuff. Or that I should get the embur as its cordless. I have seen that that one gets way to hot and is always on which I don't like. Nor do I want the akko with is only 30 bucks from frys. I just specifically want to know how well the Herb Iron works for wax. If it's going to work out just fine then as soon as I find out I will order it asap.

Well yes knew you can't heat the nail with it. What you do is put wax on a dabber or straight on a cold nail then when the Herb Iron is hot you stick it to the wax and suck in and it will hit it. But the cool thing is you don't have to even use a nail you can put wax on a dabber and stick the dauber with wax in a traditional bowl then put the Herb Iron in there so it melts it and hits it. That's basically the same way you hit your herb you out it in the bowl and then touch Herb Iron to the bowl and hit it.

Anyways I'll get it probably the resta one and let you guys know how it tastes. Cause I already know it will hit. If worst thing I can use it for herb.
