Hello and welcome Currently flowering is Pineapple Express clone from harvested mother. 8 weeks on 12/12 so far. I carefully pollenated some of the branch tops to obtain my own seeds. Thanks to advise from Jras the process seems to be going well. I searched around today with tweezers, but the buds are rock hard, and I don't want to tear them up to bad searching into the super sticky flowers. This is the last plant of my growing season in 5 gal. bucket it sits in a 5x5 tent with 600w HPS. It had some stressful times, but I think it recovered ok. Perhaps in the coming weeks seeds may emerge. Here are the pictures.
Yea they look delicious like smell across the house delicious hehe http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1329219-My-2Nd-Real-Grow-Attempt%2C-W--Pics%21-Bubble-Cloner-clone-Machine%2C-Dwc
Another mysterious thing is this drop of sticky something that keeps developing after couple days after clean up. Never seen it before and not sure where it's coming from. Has no smell. Just sticky and Amber drop like size. They appear at different locations on the tent floor. Nothing on the ceiling that I can see creating it. At first I thought residue from the hot shot strips, but I cleaned up and they've been out of there for weeks now. Has anyone seen this before?
Sap? Idk if cannabis does that but you never know! http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1354378-hddani%27s-Journey-to-a-Harvest
Yeah that's what it reminded me of was sap. Perhaps defect on tent floor material? Not sure. Some spots were directly below the branches and leaves.
I was hoping someone came across this, perhaps material issue. Weird. Yay on the seed development! Finally. I thought I saw some, but wasent sure.
Thanks Crankz. I also thought maybe from the rope or branch ties getting too close to the hps it's all strung up, but they are cold to the touch and no residue accumulating that I can see on them.
Went to check again and found this. Wasent there yesterday over it is this On Kleenex After wiped up I noticed in the pic small drops developing on tent floor. Or am I seeing things? It may be the tent floor glue? I haven't seen this in my 4x4 tent same brand ledwholesalers I believe. Not the greatest, but have worked well over the years.
I wish I could help. I'm really curious about the mysterious liquid. I highly doubt its glue though. Plants look great as usual man.
Thank you Code. I removed all string and carefully slid down webbed net for the tent. After adjustments I noticed more on some leaves and near buds producing it. I googled it and apparently it's a combination of sugar and water produced by the plant near end of flowering. I searched cannabis sap. Glad to know my tent is not defective.
I found two taps of sap so far. Each on opposite end of the plant. This would explain the unusual super glue like stickiness after handling. Crazy. I guess I'll start saving it for further study.
