Michganmans Garden of Weeden

  1. Yea I'm pretty disappointed. Just got to adapt a little. I'm still hopeful for an awesome season and I'm sure it will be just fine. This spot I'm going to use now has stood the test of time. I started making this garden a long time ago and my first grow there was only a couple plants in about a 6x6 foot area. Every year I've expanded and it's been pretty successful.

im thinking I'm going to expand it even a little more. I got the whole weekend off for once and I took a vacation day on Monday to get work done on the grow site. I just ordered 80 20gal grow bags. I'm not a big fan of the grow bags but it was a looooooot cheaper. I priced geopots and smart pots and for something this scale it would of been ridiculously expensive. I got those 80 grow bags for $110. Also I dropped $100 on dry organic ferts so far. This will def be a budget grow, but still quality.

  4. yea it's so much easier with a giant rez. Mine last year was about 50 gal and I would drain that every couple days. I was thinking about 2 55 gal drums but I don't know, I seen these and was drooling.

  5. I think you just gave me an idea hehe.... You are totally right, way less of pain in the ass that way!

  6. Also I've abandoned my drip irrigation this year and plan on using gravity with the Rez elevated a couple feet off the ground and this watering wand. I'll get much better water coverage any way. Plus the drip irrigation was a pain in the ass as well so I don't feel like I'm going to be adding much work for myself using this method. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1429377502.667010.jpg

Hey MIMan! Looks like you had a nice relaxing pre 420 weekend! Nice catch by the way! I bet your just as excited and anxious as I am to get the little ones out under the sun in a few more weeks!

Hope you have a great 420 and are able to get sufficiently baked!

    Peace & Love
