  1. Yesterday I was driving along and out of the corner of my eye I see this light going super fast just zoom across the sky and changed colour from white to blue and it couldn't have been a meteor because it had no tail and seemed to be fairly closer to the ground than a meteor like around the height of a low flying plane and made no sound and crossed from horizon to horizon in about 1 second. Thoughts??

  2. Aliens going for a cruise.

  3. Probably one of countless satellites zipping across the sky. Every once n awhile you'll see one reflecting sunlight at night.. and at extremely high speeds. Being that you only got a glimpse, it could of very well looked like it was close.. but probably a satellite. Sounds too fast to have been the ISS.

  4. And if you're really interested in figuring out if it was a satellite or not, there is an app called Heavens-Above. Some satellite flares can be predicted and it tells you a good time to be looking up if you want a chance to see it. Maybe you'll see a satellite listed the occurs around when you saw it.

  5. I don't think it was a satellite because it crossed the sky in just 1 or less than one second and most satellites I've seen have taken a minute or two to cross the sky

  6. can you see them from cities? I live in Las Vegas, we got lots of light pollution

It might not have been, but it sounds likely. Some satellites take a day or longer to make a complete orbit around the Earth, while there are many that don't take much longer than an hour.

Another plausible possibility is a micrometeoroid or space junk. You said it didn't leave a tail.. which is a lil confusing seeing as you said it went from horizon to horizon in a second cause even if that was a solid light, it would of been a streak of light because your visual system/brain doesn't work that fast. But, some shooting stars you see are barely larger than a grain of sand and will only look like a single light streaking through the sky without leaving a tail behind it.. because there isn't any material to leave a tail with.

If you can see the ISS or pretty much any planets, you should be able to see them cause they can be brighter than all them.. not always though. The only thing that would be brighter than an iridium flare would be the moon.

  8. That sounds like what it probably was

  9. Maybe it was Jesus on a holy mission

  10. Maybe it was the "light bearer" bringing world "peace"

  11.
Sounds just like a meteor. When they are large enough to not burn up immediately in the atmosphere, they do change color as they break up. I've seen a few low fliers in my time.

  12. Thoughts? Hmmm...

  13. Why hasn't anyone said the obvious yet?
It's an alien space craft, dude. Duh...

  14. Obviously testing the new whip

  15. I've seen meteor without tails? Blue ones white ones red ones orange ones... a green one I've seen recently had a long green tail as well.
I however have seen 2 ufos in my life, one was explained as natural (I call bs). It was a bouncing fireball (very slow) that dripped fireballs, i assumed it was a hot air balloon until it sped away in a spark.
The other time was with a good buddy in whittier, there was a black triangle hovering in the clouds without any sound and then shot up after a few minutes

  16. Several years ago, I saw a silent, triangular craft hovering just a few hundred yards above my house then it sped off in the blink of an eye!

  17. I know right.. it's like, you'd expect the very first response to have something about aliens.

I was walking in a dark forest once and saw this really strong white light in the sky. It was moving slowly across the sky and didn't look like anything stellar. I was standing there shocked. It made no noise either. I don't believe UFO's have visited earth. And I wasn't ready to believe after one weird event.

Several months later I'm driving near the airport mid day and see a small plane with a very bright light shining under it. It was the same light.
