They had him, they could have tackled him, they shot first and ask questions later. If they killed a bystander they would walk. If that would have been us we would be on our way to the joint.

Cops are supposed to do time at the shooting range on a regular basis to ensure they are proficient and to ensure the reliability of the weapons. Those cops were not good shots but good enough to take this guy down for good. They were just dealing with this guy before he took off, they should have tackled him. Just like the Seahawks should have let Marshawn lynch run the ball. The whole sad story could have been different with some old cops who are more calm and skilled under pressure. Id like to see the cops sit in jail till they decide if its manslaughter or not. If it were you or I we would be in the clink with $1,000,000.00 bail.
Come on, we all know a cop or two. They can't WAIT til they get to shoot a guy, especially a non white. I know many many cops sheriff's and highway patrolman. I'm like the taxicab driver, except I serve sushi. The shit I hear from cops.
When my dad was on the force he shot 3-5x a week at the range. They allotted them several hundred rounds a week and practice was mandatory. All police should be extremely proficient with a fire arm. When he was on the force they taught them to use their fire arm as an absolute last resort. If they were to fire they were trained to fire until the mag is empty or they hit the ground. There is no wounding or non lethal shots with police they are trained to fire till it clicks or the person is dead. That's the point only time an officer should use a firearm is if he is about to be killed. That man posed zero threat to those officers or anyone around him. Hell send me out there and i would have taken him down without lethal force. Fuck those weak pathetic piece of shit cops. Maybe it's because i've worked on tactical shooting a ton but i don't see how you could miss them with a Glock or Beretta that cops usually carry. I mean hell i could pick the guys knee cap off from where they were. Fuck everyone saying he fucked up by doing what he did and the police had the right to kill him. Fuck you fuck you fuck you. If you do not have the fucking nuts to take on a small guy with a rock without shooting him 10 times from 10 feet away you shouldn't be a police officer period. If you're to weak and fearful to handle that situation with poise and give that man every single chance to be stopped or give up peacefully you shouldn't be a cop. It's that fucking attitude that allows this to happen and perpetuates it. Those men should be stripped of any kind of power and preferably spend some time in the pen or county and get to see what they do to people all day. How would they like it if their partner or child or family was killed by a CCW carrier that got threatened by them with a rock. Especially if the person with the rock was fleeing. Ya double standard? Cops should be held to a higher standard not the public. We shouldn't have to fear being gunned down by police for moving wrong. We shouldn't have to worry about being killed for the smallest thing. Hell i've watched videos and in person of cops shooting people who posed zero threat. Their job is to protect and serve. They should be willing to do everything aside from dying to try and save someone or stop it without lethal force. Cops these days are fucking pathetic. We hate you for a reason. I've seen the personality test they use to determine if you're right to be an officer and they pick a specific type of person. Now the type of person they pick is well not the kind of person you want with a badge and a gun. We'll say that much. My professor actually used to help analyze them and also did counseling and treatment for officers and so on. She said you should be quite worried about who's behind that badge. Law enforcement is in the top 5 jobs for psycho/sociopaths.
I can't stand cops, and I'm a lawful citizen who breaks no laws other than speeding. I've maybe met about 3 cops who should be a cop, most are loses who live authority. Fucking pigs.
Those cops just make me sick to my stomach. Those aren't men they're mentally skewed cowards. If a civi did the same thing he'd be in prison by the time court dates were set.
