Okay so I decided to just start a thread for my grow, things are looking great so far after a bumpy start, this is my second grow I learned a lot from my first and I still have much more to learn lol I topped my plants 2 days ago, seem to be responding well but I cant tell forsure, also I found out one of my stems has grown is a very weird fashion I'm not sure why but I wanna make sure it'll be okay Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Thanks Man! She's been getting straight water for the past 2 weeks, next Tuesday will mark 4 week mark and I was thinking about start feeding nutes at 4 weeks, I was just wondering if this is too soon or not Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Are you in soil? I start feeding my coco girls once the first set of leaves begin to yellow up a bit Not sure with dirt though
Yes I'm in soil, roots organic and I may just wait till I transplant Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Good afternoon everyone and happy Sunday, we are just a few days away from the 4 week mark on these (hopefully girls) lol still have been just feeding water, I plan to transplant either today or tomorrow and start nutes after they rebound back, lower growth has increased as long with getting wider from the topping, hopefully all goes as planned, picking up a scrog net this week for after the transplant Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Even though my thread isn't getting any love I'll still post some more pics, Tuesday December 30th will be 5 weeks, flipping them at 6 weeks. Roots organics soil, GH 3 part nutes, 125w cfl. Temps stay at 74-76 degrees with 40-45% humidity Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Sorry your thread isn't getting any love, lol. I feel you. I really only have one guy posting on mine, but he is very helpful... I had a few more earlier, but they might be getting tired of my newbieness, if that's a word. I have no advice for you, but your plants look great. Looks like you have two tops coming in on the plants you topped, looks great. I just started giving mine nutes at about the 4 week mark also. Im using vermifire organic soil....
Might wanna go real easy on the nutes considering there are nutrients in the new dirt you just moved them into. Roots organic will usually feed your plants for 3-4 weeks before you need any kind of extra nutes. Keep an eye out for any nute burn OP. Just a heads up. The look good by the way man. And for that funny stalk it'll be just fine, might need some support later in life but nothing crazy.
Thank you! Yeah only one out of 3 actually shot 2 tops I'm guessing I didn't cut far enough so lesson learned lol but so far seems to be doing good Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Thanks bro! They're only under 125 watt 6500k cfl, I honestly don't even know where to start with lst, iv seen that it can produce some serious yields but i don't want to stress them too much and herm them lol they are actually bag seed, I purchased a green love potion seed from samsara seeds but it ended up dying before it really grew at all, so I figure before wasting anymore money on seeds I'll just try some bag seed, I'm gonna flip at 6 weeks, so hopefully that's enough veg growth Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Looking good in here.. Just remember when you switch them over to flower. They will double in height generally. . I'm not sure with 125cfl but I'm sure there will be done stretch. . I saw you where getting a scrog net.. Great idea. usually you would lst them a bit. .More spread out before the scrog goes in. Just a thought. . Sending that good grow karma your way.. and I'm subbed in
Well, no time like the present to experiment LST does improve yield and can be done with something simple like a pipe cleaner.
I forgot to add I'm going to be using a 180w ufo led as well as my 125w cfl for flower, I have a 2100k bulb for flower, so 3 plants and 305 watts so should turn out good hopefully, and idk about the scrog net only because my one is much taller than the other two so I'm not sure if that'll work Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I may give it a try then😊😊 gotta pick up some pipe cleaners first lol Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
If that's the case. . Definitely watch the height. . They double in size when they start flowering... If not triple.. I'm not sure the height in that space. Now go get those pipe cleaners!
So here's my cab with the led in it with the cfl, keep in mind the cfl can still be raised much more, not soo much on the led tho unfortunately but I think it's powerful enough to reach down to them, and I'll have to go grab some pipe cleaners tomrw!!! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I'm thinking 6 week veg might be too long. Maybe 4.. because the pot size she's growing in.. I'm be popping in for sure!
