2 months in ..honestly ur growth is a little slow ...what's ur temperature like ..what's in your soil ? ...did u let your soil cook for a minimum 3 weeks ? And what kind of water r u using?

  3. What is "TGA soil"?

  4. Auto's don't like being transplanted.  Ever.  Think of it like this; they are on a tight schedule.  They have to veg and flower in a much shorter period than most plants.  And they HAVE to go into flower regardless of light and/or maturity, it's genetically programmed.  So you've already affected your total yield.  If I do an auto it gets planted directly into it's final pot.

At this point you probably just need to give it a healthy dose of LITFA.

    Hey Jerry,

TGA soil is a super soil that ripped off of The Green Avengers Subcool logo and marketed it without Subcools permission and used the TGA logo on their soil. I think the TGA soil formulation is similiar to Subcools mix but has had mixed reviews on quality from what I have heard. I am using a different version of Subcools mix from GoodLand that works extremely well. Anyway hope that helps clarify.

    Have a good one!

  6. Thanks Brix.

I thought that I might have heard reference to "TGA" & "Subcool" at the same time before? Are they connected somehow? I'm just curious. I'm pretty much out of the loop on these things. Thanks,

    J

  7.
TGA Subcool Seeds is the name of the company that breeds and sells seeds. They have an extensive collection of very nice genetics. I am running some of their stains currently.

The company that sells the TGA soil is not part of TGA Subcool Seeds. They ripped off TGA Subcool Seeds logo and are marketing it under the name TGA soil. Pretty shady thing to do IMO.

  8. Thanks Brix. Interesting. Are the Hydro Stores carrying this soil?

There's a reason that you thought that they were/are connected - because they are. SubPar's fingerprints are all over this so-called 'wunderbar' potting soil

Not to worry though because SubPar has a new & improved potting soil being packed down in Santa Barbara.

I can understand why SubPar wants to distance himself from TGA Soil - he didn't know what he was doing when he submitted his recipe to the packers in and around Springfield, Oregon. If you write 'peat moss' then that's what you get. If you actually wanted 'Sphagnum peat moss' then that is the term he should have used.

Then there's the so-called 'humus' that was specified.

Once again there are no secrets in the soil bagging business in the Willamette Valley. You know - filings with regulatory agencies and such.

I've never messed with autos, I like being able to decide how long plants veg and be able to clone. Fems or regs are the only way to go imho. Autos have their place im sure. My question is if that plants 2 months in, won't it be flowering soon? Its pretty small

Hows that saying go..."You can the change the name of the song but you cant change the tune". LOL. Been a longtime, I recall you better under a different alias. But I know its you. Glad you're still breathing, reading, and typing:)

So I take it you're not a "weed nerd"? LMAO!
I have watched a few episodes and my verdict is he is definitely a version of  "Old School" as he would say. In respect to his connotation of the word. I find him slightly amusing character wise. Most certainly not the wisest nor the best grower/breeder. However, I would not consider him a bad person. For one, He promotes and contributes to charity. That is more good than I do for strangers. Some people need an idol and he fills that void, happily. Not saying that I do, and I wouldn't expect you to either. Just saying I'm cool with the Green Avenger doing his thing. Wish him the best.

On episode 213 of  "The Weed Nerd" he states his logo was stolen and misused to sell a bagged soil and he sounded rather angry about it. Out of pure curiosity, can you pm me or post the "fingerprints" you mentioned? If he lied about involvement and/or authorization I would like to know.

  16. For the most part...yes they suck. They only work well for guerrilla growing or in places with harsh, cold, short summers.

  17. Now now...let's not be so harsh on autos.  They are great for getting some stash together quick and can be done indoors very well.  Since they tend to stay short, they are also popular for closet/micro grows.

I have some Amnesia Haze Auto I've been smoking on for the past month or so that is seriously fine.  Some of the best smelling and tasting weed I've had in a loooooong time.

But then too, it was grown completely organically and cured pretty well if I do say so myself.

Nothing really wrong with feminized seeds either, in my opinion.

  19. All I can say is just dust yourself off & try again. Get another one going while this one flowers. You can take out all the guess work & shit you did wrong & be smoking a blunt of that baby while your new baby's waving at ya.
