How To Avoid Being Constantly Tired While High?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by SlightlyStonedSD, Jun 19, 2014.

  1. I'm a seasoned smoker and this never used to be a huge problem but I work night shift now and it seems like no matter how much I sleep I'm always tired when I'm not at work (of course I'm always high as well)

My girlfriend says I smoke too much and I told her if she makes me choose between her and Mary it won't end well lol

I drink coffee like it's water and it only helps temporarily. Do you guys have any creative or unusual tricks other then caffeine overdose to stay energetic?

Oh yeah I try to smoke only sativas during the day but that doesn't solve the problem 100% either.

  2. Take some un-mentionables or cut down on your pot smoking.

  3. Never! Lol

  4. Then have fun being sleepy!

  5. smoke after work?
IMO I'd be hyped looking forward to getting the reward after work instead of before.

  6. Good ol fashioned nap always works for me.

I'm not a doctor but a lot of caffeine might be a problem. I found this on Yahoo answers:

I'd also say eat shit like fresh fruit, vegetables and proteins/omega 3 fats in like fish if you're not already.. and you could watch salt intake over day.. I know what you mean though, I've though about this too because I get tired a lot too. These are some things that help me, but I'm no doctor, this is just what's helped me

  8. Well over time most people get 'immune' to it and don't pass out. If this isn't the case for you then you should smoke sativa or a hybrid.

  9. Me too, right when I get off work is when I'm the most awake

  10. I have a pretty good diet, I eat a lot of veggies and I avoid sodium at all costs

  11. Yeah it never used to be a problem but I work graveyard shift now and the schedule takes a huge toll on your body. It's hard to explain after you experience it, every weekend I switch to a normal schedule and during the week I switch back to vampire status

  12. how long have you been working nights?
It could be the fact your body still needs to adjust to working at night

  13. 8 months lol, I never get fully used to it because every weekend and holiday I switch to regular schedule so I can spend time with my girl

  14. You every try drinking Yerba Mate? You can buy it at raleys and whole foods. Alot of wierd random health stores as well. Its natural caffine and it has a synergy with pot that is like no other. I drink it almost everyday before work. (stacking boxes 8hrs+) The affects last a good 4 hours too. No Crash! Then another bowl and im feeling pretty damn irie.

  15. Nice I'll try it out

  16. That sucks. But there is your porblem.. you're worn out. Caffeine is gonna kill you one day man if you need energy honestly start buying/making vegetable/fruit juice. I'm not talking about that Minute Maid or Orange juice bullshit I mean real vegetables and real fruit not concentrates.... Generally just eat healthier. Good luck.

  17. Thanks, I think I live fairly healthy but I'm sure a better diet and more exercise are my best solutions.

  18.
I take it you're avoiding salt. Salt usually contains iodine, which is REALLY important when it comes to energy. I used to crash a lot with Indicas until I started supplementing.

Two drops once a day in a small glass of water when you wake up. After a week, try three.

  19. Interesting, I'll find that at whole foods or sprouts?

  20. I got mine off of Amazon, but just about any grocery store should carry it. There are different strengths, my suggestions are based on the 2% solution.
