How Do You Feel About People Who Are Ignorant Or Willfully Turn A Blind Eye To World Events And Politics? What Woke You Up?

I don't have a single personal friend or acquaintance acquainted in politics and they simply do not care about world events. It boggles my mind. My close friends will humor me and listen to me to my current world babble but others outright refuse to listen and dismiss it because they "do not have the time" or "it doesn't effect me personally". I think this is very trendy in non-proactive or unaware millennials and I find it infuriating. Whether you disagree or not, whether you're indifferent or not, this is the world we live in and we're living in very interesting times in both blessing and curse, technology and destruction; revolution is in heart internationally, borders are breaking down and being rewritten. Suppressed truths are constantly coming to light and people would rather share pseudo-philosphical pictures for likes on social media or drown themselves on in scheduled monotony and it personally confirms the success indoctrinated ideological subversion and cultural Marxism.

Have you surrounded yourself with politically aware people or is the internet your outlet. Do you try to convert the blissfully ignorant or do they have to personally accept the red pill? At what point did you start seeing the greater piece of the picture GC? Even in academia, perhaps because I'm a science major, I have not ran into too many socially aware, aside from SJW which are the opposite, or politically aware individuals.

That is not to say I don't have many online friends that although disagree with what I saw, share a worldly awareness.

  2. Fuck, fuck, fuck, me I'm fucked up. I meant to post this in Politics.

  3. Iv gotten high with a state representative who has been a friend for 20 years.

They are not one to follow party lines too.

  4. I don't really know anyone who's as awake as me.  I've tried explaining shit to my family, they all think I'm crazy and continue to watch the News, Sports, and talk about unimportant trends and celebrity gossip.  Same with everyone else.  We live in Generation Z.  Z for Zombie.  Zombie acting people and the zombie trend going around.  The truth is, when things collapse it WILL affect everyone and people like me will be saying I told you so.

And Vicious, didn't you tell me yourself you don't take interest in these kinds of things?

  5.
LOL I know how you like to see things orderly and in the correct forum.

  6. Personally i don't give a fuck about people who don't care enough to "wake up". Whatever is planned is going to happen regardless of how many people wake up. We live in a world that is simply a dream within a dream and people are more comfortable dreaming than waking up and facing the reality of the collective consciousness in which we all plunged ourselves into, the good and the bad. So as much as you want to help people become aware, in my opinion, people are beyond saving at this point. All you need to do is educate yourself on the Truth and surround yourself with people who also think the same way.

Really the thread is appropriate in both spots. Honestly, I expect the thread to last longer in Politics and have more thoughtful and less fringe responses. I'm debating on double posting, leaving it or asking the mods to move it. People here are going to assume I mean something tinfoiled and more conspiracy theorist, whereas politics would just take it as being educated and aware.

  8. Personally I could give 2 shits about politics. People say "you live in this country it will affect you" yet it hasn't. Yeah I get money taken out for taxes and all the usual government Bullshit. But stuff really only happens on larger scales

  9. Das ignant.

Yet is the key word.  What happens when hyperinflation or the collapse of the dollar causes you to lose your house, your savings, your car, and any cash you have is now useless, all overnight?  If your car and house aren't paid off then the banks will demand their assets back if / when they need it.

  11. b-b-but I couldn't personally do anything about it!

My life's very similar. The majority of my group of friends are good people who are simply looking to get ahead in the world. My best friend is also a stoner and is my partner on a project we're starting together, and he's someone who also shares an awareness of the world around him, has an interest in navigating the arduous political landscape, and perceives life on a deeper level. I recently started hanging out with a few people from his college circle of friends, and was pleasantly surprised to stumble into 2 new friends who share similar qualities, as well as being huge anime nerds. I enjoy hanging with them much more than my other friends, but I've known the other friends in my group since elementary school. It's nice not having to hold your breath on certain issues because other people perceive someone who is well-versed on complex issues as either a "snob" or as some kind of weird conspiracy nut. When I'm with my other group of friends you get this feeling of people mentally scoffing when you say things that are either beyond their will or ability to understand. In a lot of ways I think I've already made a conscious decision to really only invest my time in people who look at the world around them and acknowledge that behind the aesthetics of a beautiful world, are machines that have gone haywire. I can't say what it was that really "woke" me up. Weed had a lot to do with it, by allowing me enough detachment from my sober history to think about greater issues. I have always been very philosophical in my approach to life, and as I got older that kind of thinking led me towards this certain mentality, with certain values. Anarchism just kind of made sense. Everything else just kind of seemed like bullshit.

Silly rabbit, bullshit is for politicians.

  13. Another thing I feel inclined to add: politics and world events are simply the effect of a much larger and more sinister cause. There is a war going on in a spiritual realm in which most people have no idea about and such a topic would require much knowledge that many people do not possess because they've been educated by the external and not the internal. Most people do not meditate. Schools do not teach you how. Most people don't know how to use the wonderful powers of the human imagination. Most people only believe what they've been taught in school thus greatly dwarfing their spiritual and physical capabilities, including their view on the planet and universe. All of these things we see happening in the world today is deeply engineered on a spiritual level. You can say you're awake all you want but if you neglect the spiritual side you are still asleep in the matrix.

But seriously, your post was long, but actually very vague. I can't really respond because there were no specifics given.

Where do you expect people to learn about world events from? MSNBC, FOX, CNN? These are the social media propaganda you speak of, how could anyone be attracted to world events or politics when these are the organizations they are exposed too.

For the average person who is stuck being a "Slave" to our system, and our government, working 60 hours a week to support themselves and ones close to them, where would they have the time to keep up with what's going on in burma?

With the way politics are now, how could you blame anyone for being selfish anymore?

I mean.. Marijuana is still illegal.

  18. All glory to the Hypnotoad.

  19.
Please educate us then. I was going to say "No, this is about politics" but you got me speechless. The metaphysical universal truth I acknowledge as Truth has no room for wars of mythos but please do educate me before I dismiss this some astral perceived fanfic product of the mind, even if that is your Truth.

  20. I used to not give a damn about the world when i was younger. I was self centered and just looked out for myself. Then I grew older, got married, and now have a 23 year old son that is currently serving in the U.S. Army. He will be stationed in Italy for 4 years. You betcha I am concerned about world politics. Specifically U.S. foriegn policy.
