Got sent a pic of this today, 80/g. When I Google sour diesel wax it all looks like this and not shatter/ other forms. Is this one of the few strains that don't shatter? I'm not concerned about the price, as long as it's "higher quality" oil. Should I buy some?

honestly I think a bunch of you guys in the non-states have your dealers/growers selling you reclaim. that looks like some straight ABS (already been smoked). Don't buy it at any price.

well yea I was gonna say most 'claim is redder, the pic in the OP seems to have a greenish tinge to it suggesting not smoked, but then its like ....wtf is it?!? and some strains will be sappier than others, less shattery, however this does not explain that crappy looking crap or all of its brothers that have been posted recently. I'm a champion of quality, especially what I decide to enjoy, I'm not an expert on how to make the stuff. Keep postin' and askin' cuz at least you know when herbs are herbs. There is alot of garbage concentrate being legally hawked here in CO, and it is fucking gross to put in your body. If you want to dab, don't even bother unless you can get yourself some good shit. Just today some guy had some honeycomb shit that was run through a "new $20k machine blah blah blah" well I can tell you it tasted like gas. This pic is under a light and it's really sappy, people say it's reclaim but I think it was poorly made cause most claim doesn't look like that. Also, is it difficult to make quality non disgusting bho with cheap equipment? May as well make it myself since everyone else wants to kill themselves.
I think the point we are trying to make is that if the stuff isn't right on point, who cares how much it cost? I'd rather just smoke weed than pay a premium for mystery chemicals. If it were $5 would you get all excited? As far as equipment goes, it is my understanding that, like with most things, time, work and giving a shit > equipment every time. You can make nice stuff with some very "cheap" equipment compared to the $$$$$$$$$ people are spending on "systems". There is no reason to automate any part of the process, it's like making a sushi rolling machine. I need cheap water, gas and rent, not cheap tattoos, sushi, or BHO. As I say, yesterday we had some junk that tasted like gas, supposedly made in one of these fancy expensive machines, when a 90 degree hotplate for 2 days would have made it infinitely better.
All you really need is a 1-stage pump, hoses and a chamber, and of course a tube. The whole setup should cost you 200-250. It cost me around that much to order my stuff online. Now sure it isnt a vacuum oven, but I can still make clear shatter that I can read a book clearly through, it'll just take much longer ^^
I don't know that much about oil, but I heard the lighter the color, the better the oil. Your oil looks black. I have heard that black oil is shit. Gold oil is the bomb. Don't quote me on that. I know more about flowers than I do about oil.
