  1. Hello this is my first time making a journal on Grass city but this is not my first time growing (about two years of grow experience).I have lots to learn still so I hope and plan on getting as much advice as possible. Currently I am growing a Nirvana Northern Lights plant. Here is what I am working with for right now...

    • Peat Plugs; Germination
    • FoxFarm Ocean Forest potting soil
    • Ph up/down w/ tap water (southern California; usually around 7.0 out from tap)/ water jug
    • For vegging I am using a T5HO 2-Foot; Sun Blaze Supreme 21 T5 fluorescent grow light fixture. Its economical 6 x 25 inch light source produces up to 2,000 lumen's, and produces virtually no heat.
    • Nutes I own for Vegging: All purpose miracle grow, High Nitrogen Bat Guano, Epsom salt (for Magnesium), also have super-thrive for transplanting as well
    • Accurite Thermometer for Temp/ Humidity ( Temp usually 70-85 degrees/ 40-65% humidity)
    • osculating fan as well/ air conditioned room

Here are a few pics of my plant..

sorry if the last image is upside down.. had trouble fixing that

My plant so far looks good but the purple is somewhat a worry of mine. I have heard it is normal with some strains but I still keep my eye on her anyways to be sure. I have not given any nutes to her yet and I am using 6.0- 6.5 pH water

Any advice/questions would be appreciate... I will keep a good update as well my fellow people of GrassCity.com

  3. *would not worry*

  4. Im in here man! Want to see what the T5 can do in veg.

  5. I used on very similar years ago, just the one light just like tommy is using, what can I say, they work! Haha

  6. Yeah this set up is very cost efficient. I use only the 150watt for flowering and i keep the one most amazing plant topped; then stretch the plant like a small bonsai bush. I had one successful Northern Lights plant so far and I am hoping to have many more good plants growing as well. Thanks for checking out my post .Any advice is always appreciated
