Hi everyone, This is my first grow, classic Lowryder from Vision seeds. She didnt want to start (auto)flowering on 20/4 after 6 weeks so I had to bring her down to 12/12 with success. Because of that long 6wk veg the plant was getting very big for my growtent (35x35x60 blackbox) so I had to top her and perform daily LST to keep the height stable. I did get some light burn cause the flower tops are now 10-15cm under the high power LEDs (homebuilt very slim 85W). I try to pull em away as much as possible with some wires. Looking back on it I had to top it one branch earlier and shouldnt have waited so long before changing to 12/12 but we all have to learn from our mistakes Anyway the whole tent seems to have filled up and I count around 10 budsites at the top with plenty smaller flowers on each node below, so not bad for my first time. I dont think this small tent is capable of containing more actually  Today she is exact 11wks old (so 5 wks flowering). The pistils are starting to yellow and dry out at the tips, I think she will be ready soon. Now my question, do I start flushing her from now on or is it still too soon ? I have included some trychome pics but I'm struggling to get a clear picture from my usb microscope, I have no idea if they are clear, milky or even amber. Pics were taken from a bud leaf close to the top Hope you enjoy the pics and can give me some advice here SnooZe_
Good grow. Your pistils are still white and your trichomes look clear. Hopefully someone who knows how fast it goes from here can clue you in on flushing. I wouldn't start yet.
Small update, still looking pretty clear to me...maybe some cloudyness starting? but seems it needs more time. I stopped giving fertilizer as of today, plant still looking quite green, only one leaf yellowed out so far.
Think we're getting somewhere now! giving only ph'd water with 100ppm for the last week. Might be harvesting this next weekend maybe?
I'd start flushing if I were you. After harvest, your trichs will continue to mature. If they're 50% clear, 50% cloudy, it's good, BC after cure, it'll be 50%cloudy, 50% amber. Looks as if amber is already starting in last pic. Sent from my DROID4 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
