hey guys!! so this part is completely useless, im just telling you my story. skip if you're in a hurry, im just telling you my tale lol. i finished my third ever wash yesterday. i washed half an o, and the and product of my first wash came out all embery (no green what so ever) with dark red, caramel color..its beautiful! anyways, as i was scraping up my dishes this morning, after 1 hour of non stop scraping with a shitty dull knife, i get my dabber, stick it in a fat glob and get my torch, then...MY FUCKING TORCH RAN OUT!! LOL! i was like no no no hopefully the nail is hot enough for this glob real quick (it wasnt lol, it just melted on all over my nail xD) but anyways..yeah..it sucked. so now i just came back from school, and i wont be able to buy fuel for my torch until friday (dont have a license, cant ask brother to take me to buy butane lol so ill have to wait for a friend to take me) -- question starts here -- anyways, ive been desperate for an alternative to dabbing my hash oil. my brother has an electronic cigarette (one of those that look like regular cigs but are metal) and im wondering, would i be able to load up some nice hash oil in there or not..also if i do will it get stuck, is it hard to clean out etc cause i dont wanna get him high when i give it back...he hates weed etc. what about the hot knife thing, i get the concept but isnt that basically hot boxing lol and idk it just seems very messy. i was htinking maybe heating my nail on a stove or something (but i wouldnt be able to do that now, poeple are downstairs...if there was a very reliable way to hot knife it and not lose hella vape, id do it. maybe use a toilet card board roll to lead the smoke to me etc. what do you guys think!!! also i have no flowers, so i cant top my bowls (ran all of it yesterday..shouldve saved a g prolly lmao) and i have no cigs (as i know some people smear hash on it, im also interested in knowing how that worked out for u guys cause to me it sounds like u wont be inhaling the hash if its smeared from the outside, but i never tried it) thanks guys!! ive been craving some hash oil for a minute now and it was the biggest tease when my torch died mid torching my first glob hahahaha..fuck...
one of my favorite methods is called thee bed of ash method. take some ash (or create some by burning some paper, just make sure its comletely burnt and cant be lit), pack it down in a bowl, then throw some of that hash oil on top and smoke slowly. it may not be the best or worst tasting, but it will work. old school method haha, best of luck.
we have an open flame oven, so when everyone in my family dies or falls asleep tonight ill heat my nail on the open flame oven...but...waiting sucks when u have a vial of oil...might try your method, my guess would be the oil will run through the ash and drip but ill still do it lol, better try. also any1 know if its still possible to turn that hash oil into edibles, and if its worth it. and how long do edibles last etc. i wanna go to the barbershop and go out do my things but i was really looking forward to getting a haircut dabbed out...hehe..
My friend jus called me yesterday askin the same question. He said his GF was about to take a dab and she spilt a cup of water on the torch.....and it wouldnt ignite anymore. He jus went up to the smokeshop n bought another lol
yeah i mentioned that in original post, but like i said it feels very very very unreliable. how the hell are u gona catch all the smoke coming from the knife lol...maybe hot knife it with a long toilet paper roll to suck in the smoke and focus it better...ill youtube some methods real quick lol
come to think about it, my torch ran out when i was in the bathroom getting ready to take a shower (it was very very steamy and the air was moist as it was a hot bath and the door was closed) my torch worked before that and lit for a little bit then went out and i had to put it on max setting then after 3 seconds the max setting went out too, so i just assumed it was the fuel... maybe the steamy and moistness in the air damaged my butane torch!! i remember long time ago when i had to hide when i used to smoke, i would take bong rips in my bathroom sometimes cause of the noise, and one time i brought the lighter in the bathroom to take a hit and it was very moisty and humid cause of the hot bath and my lighter got wet i think and thats what made it go out. if i remember correctly, that lighter worked later after drying...but i could be wrong, the torch however does NOT
Yeah, ill do that later when people are asleep but i cant today\\right now. theres people in the house and i can only smoke in my room lol, so i was looking for an alternative.
That honestly could be it.....Id let it sit out and get fully dry, like when a phone gets wet. I havent talked to dude today yet to see if its workin or not. But it jus sucks you gotta wait for it to dry, if that is the case.
hmm that actually sounds very reliable, as the oil wont have anywhere to run when i light it, so ill get full hit! time to put all this glass away and pull out the tin foil lmao i really hope so man, it feels so much cooler and reliable to dab lmao. and i let my torch sit in my closet for about 8 hours and it still doesnt work. the closet is closed and humid tho so i threw the torch in the sun, hopefully that fixes it.
yeah it is unreliable.. atleast in my experience. bed of ash method great if you have a regular bowl to smoke from.
If you're looking for reliable, throw a little bit of green tea, packed nice and tight in the bowl, oil on top, rip it If anything the oil sticks to the tea, about as efficient as topping on top of the bowl Don't use Lipton though, use one thats at least organic (celestial seasonings is cheap bags also) so that its not nasty and harsh, I have some good loose leaf tea that I use a little bit of where needed
would you really recommend that! i dont really use my bong anymore, but it has a bowl piece with a huge hole, and it was a bitch packing it with kief cause a little would fall off in the bong all the time i remember..so thats why i dont wanna use an ash bed, but i really appreciate the idea, i just know for a fact my oil will run through the hole before i get the most out of it lol. so far its either smoking bowls of green tea topped with oil, or going crack mode and crafting a nice tinfoil crack pipe lol. also, i have some raw papers, would you think its a good idea to roll a green tea joint and smear the fuck out of the joint with hash oil on the outside lmao..would that be a waste, does it burn too quick, etc. and will it taste horrible. might just go with the green tea bowls for now tho tbh lol..what u think!
Both of those will work, I've tried both! However, the green tea joint is only going to taste as good as the green tea is (you can use any tea, green will just most likely be the least harsh), and it would be a waste of oil if you used too much, and put the oil towards the side that you light first on the J The only thing I'd say is, whenever you're done smoking the tea out of your bowl, if you choose to do so, clean it out a little bit because you might not like the tea resin haha My advisement, for personal and health reasons, would be to avoid the tin foil if at all possible...
yeah, come to think about it, the tin foil idea seems really sketch. im pretty sure id be inhaling additional shit from the tin foil. i honestly might just roll a green tea joint and smear some wax on it. and ok. i wont use a lot..maybe like a line or two...and i dont get what you meant by putting the oil towards the side that i light first. also, is it better to smear the wax inside or outside the joint, like should i do it before rolling or after on the outsiide (which i would prefer, cause it looks way cooler!!) and its not harsh or harmful at all to fully inhale green tea joint or is it same as weed, cause i wanna be confident if i wanna take big inhales. also, would u recommend i roll a skinny joint of green tea or a fatty (to reduce other smoke as much as possible, i only really care about the oil lol. but if i roll skinny it might burn fast etc. my biggest fear is if my joint starts running from one side or if it just burns too quick from the oil (which i think itll slow it down instead)
I do like a spiral around the end of the joint on the opposite side of the filter, wrap around the joint 2-3 times Putting it inside the j might be more efficient though, but I'm not sure
