Need Psoriasis Advice

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by illenoise, Apr 1, 2014.

  1. Medical use is not legal YET here in Illinois, so topical meds are hard to come by. With that said, I would like to create my own.. But I have a few questions hopefully some of you can answer.

    1. What is the best make your own recipe for Psoriasis on the hands, feet and face?  I would prefer fast absorbing and non greasy if possible.

    2. If the method involves heating dry herbs, would it activate the THC and infact get me high?

    3.  Does the food grade Hemp oil from Vitamin Shoppe work for topical use? Has anyone tried it to treat psoriasis?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. I put some RSO on psoriasis (skin so irritated, the dry patch was about 2" x 3" and almost ¼" thick). Seriously, the next morning it was healed. Try it. You'll be stunned! A lighter topical would also work, but not as quickly.

  3. Does it stay clear or do you have to keep applying it? If you have to keep applying it, how often?

  4.
I only applied it once to each skin patch (three total). The last one I used it on was about three months ago and so far they stayed clear.

I've also used a much lighter cannabis infused emu oil cream from Kush Creams for less severe dry patches. This cream from Kush Creams can be ordered online and it absorbs into the skin upon application. I applied it about twice/day for about one month and the spots healed and haven't returned.

  5. I also had a friend who used RSO on his psoriasis, where it was highly visible he used it at night when he was a sleep, on his arms and legs (where it was covered by clothes) he used it during the day...I have to say he had a pretty severe case and it cleared up within a few days. It aint cheap though.

  6. This is good news. I'm going to give it a try.

  7. So I guess I need to make RSO... I wonder if I can make a smaller batch to test it

  8. If you google making a small batch of RSO, you'll get several videos and articles/blogs/forums with instructions.

  9. Is there any particular strain that would work best? I'm guessing something high in CBD.

  10.
I'm not sure about the strains because I purchased the oil, which had 57% THC and 2.6% CBD.

  11. I saw some info suggesting that the oil was made with Harlequin, True Blueberry, OG Kush and Omrita Rx, all CBD dominant strains.

  12. I love coming here and seeing positive results from cannabis helping about every condition we as humans deal with. not sure I even want it to go mainstream because we humans f#$ck up every thing we touch and mainstream means more human interference with the cannabis but is inevitable I guess

  13. I gave my friend trim, sugar leaves, stems, shade leaves and small popcorn buds...He used the whole plant essentially to make a small batch. It was Cennix. I have a friend who is using Harlequin tincture for her dog for seizure disorder.

  14. Since having a baby, I have had extremely dry skin patches all over my legs and belly. I have tried numerous products, i did chang in my diet, added some good supplements but nothing worked out. After using dermalmd product got back smooth and healthy belly and legs. So glad I recommend it!!!!!!
