Molasses and Coco

  1. So im debating on if i want to feed my girls molasses once they are far along enough. Ive heard mixed things about it..Im currently using FoxFarm Nutes including the solubles. Do you recommend including it to my feeding once in a while? I plan on warming the water when putting it in to make sure it mixes good but i want some feedback from you guys on what you think

  2. It may be a while before you get much feedback. There's a lot of info already on the site, go check it out! :)

  3. I've used molases in the past in soil with good results. I'm trying coco now and I'm just adding 1tsp per gallon.
Plant's don't seem to mind at all. I'm watching my ppm each time since
    my water isnt the best

  4. Its pretty pointless in coco since theres no microbes to feed..its good for cal and mag but so is calmag

  5. ok good to know....how often should i feed them calmag+ in flower?

  6. I tend to disagree with the pointless in coco statement as I have experimented with molasses with excellent over night results.

  7. just heated the water up and mixed it real well? and what did u notice over night? more stickyness? fattening up?

Something like that... I found if you mix in a small jug first prior to adding to your larger water container it is much easier to deal with..

smell, cyrstal production and swell all seemed to happen although it has been a few years since I used it last..  defiantly worth it and simply used the stuff on the grocery store shelf.

  9. botanicare also just released a new line of microbes for root innoculant "zho" ten bucks to feed 28 plants... might be a good one two punch for optimal results as I do not disagree with the lack of microbe statement.

  10. I've used it in coco and can say first hand I've had good results. I personally use a little less then 1 tsp per gallon I use half a tsp per gallon every water.

  11. feed with some mendocino honey molasses and yucca extract this round with results as expected.. defiantly worth the 11 bucks probally cheapest shit bought whole grow lol.

  12. The one coco grow I neglected to use molasses I notice a difference in yield but that could be due to many factors.
While there's no microbe herd to be fed in coco my plants seem to like it. At 17 bucks a gallon at Smart and Final it's
cheap enough, no reason not too.
    Cheers
