Hi, this is my first post so I know I will most likely break some cardinal rule of posting or leave something out, but here we go.

Lets cover all the basics before I talk about the plant.

SOIL
First of all it is planted in a 7 gallon pot (filled with about 6 gallons) of Fox Farms Ocean Forest.
I added a few scoops of bat guano, peat moss, perlite, and bone meal and mixed it all together.

LIGHTS
I am using 6 26 watt 6500k CFL. But i will be adding more as the plant gets bigger. Also I have a DIY mylar hood that I made. 24/0 light schedule

AIR
I have one 6 in. duct fan for exhaust. And three 3 in holes for intake. The duct fan achieves negative pressure and pulls air through the holes.

ATMOSPHERE
Average temp is around 77-83 and average humidity is around 45-55. The readings in the pictures are only because i had it open for so long.

THE PLANT
Reserva Prevada OG Kush Feminized seed. Been growing for 17 days.
Ok let me emphasize this is my first plant, so I am not totally sure how to describe whats wrong. First it started with some leave tips folding up. Which I think was due to under watering and lights too close. So i moved the lights back and the folded leaves have gotten better looking since. But now the leaves seem droopy. I don't know, I could be over reacting. Also the leaves didn't grow symmetrically. Is that weird? Please let me know what you think!

PS- Not sure what the pH is yet, I will check it tonight and post it
PPS- It is around 6.0

2. Your fine it looks healthy make sure when u water you water the whole thing

3. Thanks for the response! Do you see how the leaves aren't symmetrical? Is that odd or pretty normal for seedlings to have abnormalities?

4. Its normal ill post a link up ofy journal check it.out also its pretty normal.from my expierance I even get them.during late veg into.flower stage heres my journal theres alot of.good reading in it but start at the beginning and work.your way thru I.have alot of.pics in.there http://forum.grassci...lst-and-topping but yea leaf abnormalities are common with cfl growing in general but also can.be genetics environment temps nutes anything but it seems like your dialed in pretty well so id just go with it

5. Sorry for the double post also run a 20/4 light cycle your plants and.roots will thank.you for it

You answered you own question. Everything looks great, except the mutations on those leaves are caused by pH being off. I don't think it's too far from where it needs to be though, because your plant does look quite healthy otherwise. pH is everything when growing with chemical fertilizers.

For soil, aim between 6.5-6.8 that's a decent range.

8. Hes set up for using no nutes its all built in so ph isnt going to be the problem

9. the nutrients are still there, they are just in the soil. I'm guessing it has to do with the ratio of his mix. Admittedly, however I don't know much about soil growing, I switched to soil-less within my first year of growing indoors. I do know that whenever my pH is off I get those exact symptoms with the leaves though.

I love soil I never have to ph and use water out of the sink set out for 24 hours.. he could have not let it cycle long enough sometimes you gotta let soil mixes sit for at least 4 weeks keeping it moist also adding worm castings will help a great deal

11. Yeah I've read that cooking the soil and the prep is the most important factor. All the real work is done before the plant is even sprouted.

12. Other then that its looking good

13. Yea its fun I even noticed little brown cap mushrooms growing in my soil great for nutrient exchange intake and extrating but with out knowing the spiece of mushroom I pick them

14. When should i start nutrients?

15. No nutes the soil already has the nutes in it. Bone meal, guano, if u add anything you'll cause more problems. If u really wanna use nutes wait about 3 to 4 weeks

Those leaves seem to be drooping more than yesterday's pictures

17. give the lil thing a break. Leave it alone unless it asks for something you are obsessing. There is no perfect plant on the entire planet. In fact nothing in nature is exact or perfect. Expecting it is unreasonable.

18. Thanks! Yeah about 3 hours after I took the photo I noticed the leaves had perked up off the ground. I'm not too worried. I don't expect perfection I just thrive for it ;)

19. Its looking good just litfa(leave it the fuck alone) and youll be ok only.
