Why does pot smoke go stale?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by autopsychosis, Jan 19, 2014.

  1. Do you know when you take a hit, and you don't completely clear it and you go back to finish it and its stale? I don't know if I'm explaining this right but if you leave the smoke (after you milked it) in the bong for too long the hit feels like car tires going across your lungs and its described as a "stale hit". What's the science behind this? Just curious.

  2. You explained that pretty we'll, but OP I couldn't tell you the reason sorryA

  3. Idk man smoke goes stale just like a lot of things. Thats why i take smaller hits so i can clear it all in one pull

  4. Don't take more than you can handle. Lol

That's a question for bill nye the science guy
