Okay, so my friend just got the O-pen vape recently and I used it for the first time yesterday, WOW!! This product is amazing - easy to use, discrete, and potent. So, it took me all of 5 minutes to decide I was going to buy one myself. Here's where I run into some issues. I can buy the vape pen easily online, however, since it is a oil/wax vape and cannot use dry herb, I have to find a place to buy refill oil cartridges (keeping in mind that I live in a non-medical state and am not really close to one). So, I was wondering if anyone knows a website that I can order refills off of or something of that nature. I am trying to join the 21st century of cannabis use, please help me out. Thanks, stay up.
@[member="ecapstime"] Unfortunately, online delivery is not going to be an option if you live in a non-medical state. That would basically entail the shipment of marijuana across state lines, which would be a violation of federal law (regardless of the MMJ status of either state).
That's your answer: make your own BHO for the pen. It's easy, relatively inexpensive but YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL because butane is highly combustible. I've never had a problem because I follow all safety precautions. I always make it outside, never inside. The biggest pain in the ass is purging the butane out of the oil. You MUST purge the oil before smoking it. I do it using a silicone oil pad and place it on a toaster oven at very low temp. (110 degrees). Spread it out evenly in a very thin layer over the pad and let it purge for 24 hours. Believe me, I've smoked some too early and didn't enjoy the butane taste. My lungs were not happy either.
