Storage of bud.

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by ProStoner4671, Oct 2, 2013.

  1. Okay, so basically I smoke every weekend, I try to use everything I buy during the weekend because I'm trying not to smoke on weeknights (I'm in my last year of school) but occasionally I have some left over. Is it really an issue to just keep it in the plastic bags it comes in for a week or so or would you guys recommend a glass jar? it's just I see a lot of people talking about stash jars and how they must be glass and stuff...

    thanks GC

  2. Youll be fine keeping some in a bag for sure. If it becomes a habit and youre going to have more than 2g or so all the time consider a jar, but the difference wont be much.

You can probably find a glass jar around your house or repurpose one after eating the contents next time u grocery shop. Any airtight glass is fine it doesnt need to be fancy

  3. But i mean what does the plastic actually do to the bud that is so bad. (what does glass do that's so good?)

  4. Plastic is porous and the smell will soon leak out. Air will also start to dry your buds up. a mason jar will prevent both of those issues. If your bud hasn't been properly cured and is moist, you will need to let it air out for a few seconds every day or every other day. :smoke:
