Is the Ploom Pax the only vaporizer that works good with plant material?

  1. I'm looking for a portable vaporizer that will vape plant/leaf material. I read reviews on a ton of portable pen type vapes and they pretty much all say to use it for oil/concentrate/dabs only.
Is the Pax the only one that really does a good job of vaping plant material?

  2.
While it's true that pens are basically for concentrates, there are quite a few portables that are just as good if not better than the Pax depending on what your priorities are:

    The MFLB
    The Solo
    The DaVinci
    The Inhalator
    etc etc........

  3. thanks man....perfect reply

  4. I have the MFLB and find it works well, but whatever vaporizer you buy depends on a lot of things such as budget, stealth factor, power source, size, portability etc.

  5.
Yeah man, I've been reading a lot and it is very difficult to decide.

  6. I have the Pulsar 7 vape pen I got from allstarvape.com for $40 and it is the only dry herb pen style I think that does its job well and accurately. Most vape pens either combust or have poor vapor quality. Though, like most pens this is purely a solo or a 2 person session piece.

The MFLB is actually a good piece, however there is a learning curve to it, and even if you master that it still was not the piece for me.

The Solo is probably the best portable piece, though its not pocket size

  7. I'm gonna look up this Pulsar 7. Thanks.

  8. I just looked up the Pulsar 7, and looks VERY much like the Atmos Raw, with a slightly different mouth piece. The Atmos doesn't actually vape, regardless of what they say - it only works for combustion. Is the Pulsar 7 a true vape, or another Atmos knockoff?

  9. I would also like to know...
I'm not going to spend ~$250-350 for no herb pen, people are out of their minds lately

  10. The Pulsar 7 is actually different, for one it only has 3 or 4 pieces needed for assembly unlike the 9 for Atmos. The early temperature does not get as high as the Atmos which is why it doesn't combust. Though if you follow the 15 seconds the manual says to, weed wil combust. You have to hold it at 8 seconds at most (hence the "early temp" and it will vape, not combust. The reason, I believe, is that the booklet says 15 because that is for tobacco or other legal herbs, not weed, since those herb are what vaporizers are legally for.

Still, the Arizer Solo Q is less than $200, some sites have it as low as $150, and that is still by far the best portable vape out there

  11. MFLB works amazing with plant material also. you can get one off ebay for 80$ free shipping. I got one a few weeks ago, and it really does the job. Once you know how to hit it properly, you hardly think about it, because it becomes natural. With the new batteries they ship with, i can get thick rips very easily.

  12. My cousin bought the original Divinci recently and that thing has impressed the hell out of me. I have a 16 inch bong that I haven't been able to use much (still waiting for a new vape to show up). We ran it with the divinci and that little thing managed to produce some pretty big rips for it being such a small vape.
