another sleeping tip (not that ive ever done this myself but ive heard it a million times from different people): turn electronics off like an hour before you plan to sleep. apparently even if you do fall asleep, its not as deep as if you didn't have your laptop or cell phone glaring into your eyes right before you passed out.
