I actually heard this the other day as well. Local news I believe. The WSLCB is still taking public input for legalization and how it should be regulated. I would not be shocked if they allowed outdoor grows because the eastside of the state has some great growing environments that already produce a lot of the state's agricultural products and the state would lose out on a lot of money by banning concentrates so I could see that rule change as well. Still very early in the process considering but I am starting to feel confident that the state won't screw this up. Sent from my HTC VLE_U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I believe the rules were changed in May to allow for outdoor grows and security would be the main issue when applying for a license. I hope the state doesn't screw it up too, but with the taxes and the overestimated revenue, it's possible that some will look at this as a financial failure on the part of the state, and there doesn't appear to be any consideration whatsoever about competing with a black market that can easily sell bud for less. This will be interesting.
I have heard they were considering outdoor growth, but the issue of security was big. I dont think they will allow outdoor growing just yet, but hopefully im wrong.
