Do Firecrackers Or Brownies Smell?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by tokesmoke69, Jul 1, 2013.

  1. I'm trying very very hard to make some sort of edibles, but my living situation at the moment involves people who are not ok with weed so I need to know how much these things smell. Do firecrackers or brownies smell? If both of them smell, which one smells the least?

  2. Brownies involve making oil or butter first so it will smell more.
Firecrackers smell like PB, they even just look like PB crackers.
But, if there is anyway you could decarb your weed before you cook with it you will be much happier with the outcome.

  3. I had 0 smell from firecrackers. My wife was all against me making edibles because she didn't want the house to smell.  I did research and found out firecrackers wouldn't smell.  One night when she was out at girls night I made them and didn't mention it to her.  I KNEW if I mentioned it to her, she would complain non stop about how bad the smell was, even if there wasn't a smell.

Well, she came home without any incident.  She had no clue at all I even made anything.  I still haven't mentioned it to this day, because I plan on using that little bit of ammunition when I decide to make more and she is home.

For mine I didn't even use any pans or anything.  I just used 1 cup for mixing the peanut butter and the weed, a little bit of veg oil, and then wrapped in tin foil baked at 330 for either 20 or 30 minutes, don't remember which time I ended up going with.

Do you know anything about making fireworks by just letting them sit for a couple of days, rather than actually cooking them in the oven?

  5. Firecrackers not fireworks man haha. Anyway, I've only heard of letting them sit out for about 3 days to two weeks. I've never tried it but supposedly it works because a chemical reaction can happen with time which is how the THC would be broken down by the fats in the peanut butter over time. The reason why recipes ask for an oven is because a chemical reaction can be SPED up by heat or agitation which is why they are ready to eat as soon as you take em out the oven but like I said heat and agitation is not necessary it only speeds the process up. Other than that, over time THC will bond with fat by merely being in contact with each other but it will be a longer process. Hope I didn't confuse you so much.

  6. Waste of time and weed.
Unless you have REALLY old weed (over a year) and are willing to let it sit for 30 days.
If its really old it has mostly decarbed naturally. And it takes a long time for the extraction to happen without heat.

No that makes sense. And ya simple typing mistake, I know its firecrackers
