Nerve Damage/Massachusetts

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Cleonnali, Jun 23, 2013.

  1. Hey GC,

I recently suffered a pretty severe compound fracture in my left hand from which the doctor said I will probably have long-lasting nerve damage in addition to that which was suffered when the index finger on the same hand experienced a severe avulsion due to contact with a Cuisinart hand blender (the irony of which didnt become apparent to me until last year). The former injury is very recent (2-3 days, there's a bone sticking out of my hand as I type this with the other but I have surgery coming up soon), so i'm still on some hardcore painkillers, but I've already found out that being on opiate painkillers for long amounts of time is not as awesome as everyone makes it sound. I've combed over this section of the forums to try to find out some info about how I should proceed acquiring a MMJ card in Massachusetts, but my search has been fruitless. Anyone think they can advise me?

Also as an additional factor i think i should add, I am a type 1 diabetic.

  2. I would either do a google search with "Massachusetts" and "Medical marijuana" and "how to", or I would go to http://norml.org/ma which is the Massachussets page which may provide more resources. You could even e-mail them to ask for help.
