  1. Ok details I grow in a tent my plants are under a 600w in an air cooled hood duct plus inline duct fan temps at 82 is that too high or am I worried for nothing?
Also sorry for the pics the light is on

  2. Have ya some rep do being a beginner. You have a nice little set up there and eighty two should be ok but you wanna short for seventy five. My room at canopy level is like 85 root zones are 70. But you may need to add another little fan or something.

  3. Well I wouldn't be able to purchase another fan for another week so do you think they'd be ok until? And thanks I try this is my second grow first serious grow also did you spot the fan in the corner of the pic?

  4. Make sure air is constantly moving inside there. The more air the beet. The fans will make the stems nice and strong I know the lights air cooled. Sweet by the way. But do you have a fan and filter combo or do you have a fan directly on the pants ?

  5. I have like a house fan in the bottom corner then the inline fan attached to the air cooled hood no filter yet I'm putting off on purchasing

  6. So am I in the green or no? Lol

Hey man. I am currently growing just fine with ambient temperature anywhere from 80-84. I am in the first week of flower. The only thing I have found is that I am watering more often like every 3 days I will feed, but only lightly. Also, make sure it doesn't go too much higher than that. Because I believe that is pushing it. If you are growing in a smaller space like I am, make sure you have a lot of air constantly moving in and out of there. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Your fan setup sounds kind of like mine BTW lol. Big house fan at the bottom blowing cool air in, but I have a small fan at the top blowing the warmer air that rises back out. It works very well. Before I got the smaller fan, It used to run a couple degrees warmer than it does now.

  8. Yes it's similar but I only have the 600w with a fan attached to the light as well

  9. As long as 82f is the max you are fine bro.

  10. Actually I left it on overnight the temp Max 84 no higher

  11. How are the plants doing? That is getting a little warm at 84. Some strains can handle more heat than others, Sat dominant ones are more heat tolerant.
Can you leave the door open a bit?

  12. That's what I'm gonna do they didn't look bad when I opened the door to check em this morning

  13. Mine can hit 84 right below the cooltube. I also have a box fan hanging blowing right about there. I have one plant that is getting tall an is in that zone but the heat doesn't seem to bother it with the fan.

If anything, open a window on a nice day if it's cooler than 80F an let that cooler air in. I can put a window fan in my room an the closet temps will hover around 75F.

  14. How are they. Sorry man I fell asleep last night as I was reading. I'd say if that shit hits 86 or above you'll see the stress show up as the blades very edges curling up. As long as your not seein damage your good. My room goes from sixty in the morning to 85 at the topof the canopy and I'm having no issues. I've been in the same room doing this for awhile so I know mid eighties won't kill em. I also noticed during flower they drink a lot of water. Every three days rather than the five days during veg. Probably because the roots are fully developed and the five gallon bucket becomes one big solid root mass.

  15. Well they're in the basement so no window to open but yea they're 82-84 they seemed fine this morning but ill double check them when I get back in a few hours

  16. I ran a similar set-up (600w in a tent in the basement), and ill give you a tip for your next grow that helped me a lot: Flip your light schedule so that your lights are on during the night rather than during the day. This will have your light running when the ambient temps in the basement are coolest, which can make the difference in a few degrees. I also installed a programmable thermostat in my house so that the ambient house temps are cooler at night when i am sleeping and the light are on.......saves on heating bills and keeps the ladies cool! I also block off all the heating vents in the basement where my grow is so that it stays nice and cool down there.....this way the passive intake will draw in the coolest possible air i to your tent, keeping your ladies happy. Just a few little things that might help.
